Refs are now taught that if they don't know...swallow the whistle.

Too many times it was a fumble and they'd blow it dead and say incomplete.

So by rule, they did the right thing.

But it wasn't even close, they should've been able to see it from the jump. But you definitely don't want that to be a fumble and then call it incomplete.

Now at least they'll give you the ball if you make a football play and jump on the ball, but if that was a fumble and they called it incomplete, then they just took 7 points from us. So they swallow the whistle.

Again though, that was REALLY bad.

We suck at punting. We suck at punt covrage. We suck at putting 11 guys on the field. Light a fire, Brady. Light it. It's time to tel your sons to play with some passion. It's time to tell Devin to sling it into coverage and eff the results. I hate watchign the bullshit we watched for the back half of last year, a scared Gardner, afraid to throw it and taking sacks. Throw the ball. Throw it deep like Baylor does every play. Do something to keep people excited about watching these damn games instead of complianing that you aren't supported. I don't want to hear about any coach on this staff being good. Not one position group or unit is good.

generate no turnovers? I suspect the guys on the field are just not athletic enough. We have 2 NFL guys on the D (Jake and Willie) and the secondary is weak without Jabrill.

Let's see that running attack we saw against Rutgers in the 4th last week. Our offense is so anemic and always seems to be behind the chains and thus allowing the opposing defense to tee of on us.
