We can be honest and say OSU just plain beat us all over the field.  Congratz to you.

I'm not going to whine and complain.  They beat us soundly.

Jim did a GREAT job with what he had to work with this entire season.

Sometimes things just happen.

I am very proud of this team for what they accomplished this year.  They will be a in a bowl game and the future is bright.  Our team does have fight but I get why their hearts are sunk low.  No excuses.  We just plain got really beaten today.

Congratz OSU fans.  It sucks .... but man your guys came to play.

I have NO DOUBT this will not be like this in the game next year or beyond between us.

So enjoy the rest of the season.

To those I have read that said .... I wish recruits had not seen this game. I actually think this would make them think ..." I can come here to help them win ". " I can come here and contribute now and help them take the next step".  I think it would fire me up if I was even at all interested in coming to play for Michigan. They truly get to feel what this rivalry is and see the pain and want to come play to get things back in order.  But that is just me, but I tend to think positive.

We are on the right track.  This was a good year.  It's that simple.

I don't think even the OSU fans thought this game would be like it was and neither did I.

There is simply work to do and JH and the coaching staff is just getting started.  It was a good year and I'm proud of the guys for trying to get things done.  This game doesn't change that.   We are and will be competative in the years to come even more so than this year.  It doesn't happen overnight with a staff change.

Looking forward to the bowl game and winning it!

people say M was 'outcoached' today?

M has not been able to run the ball all year.

And the depleted d-line was too much to overcome.  Not a scheme or coaching issue.  Just too many injuries and not enough depth (yet),

Hell, M had a productive offense passing depite no running to help at all today.

that is not really right.  Durkin got the D to out perform all year.

Today the problem was the missing d-line players, Mone, Ojemudia, and Glasgow.  No amount of scheme could overcome that against such a great running team.  All but Ojemudia will return.  Without Durkin this year, M would have lost two or three more games.

Future is bright.  Hope Dukin stays.  Terrible outcome today, but it was jsut a game where once the d-line got gassed, there was snothing that could be done.

And the fact that M's o'line never developed a real run game was also a major problem today.  A decent run game could have run the clock and kept the D off the field and more rested.  '

Lack of a running game plus 3 key d-line injuries were the problem today. After the IU game this was an obvious set of problems for matching up with OSU.

Michigan played with only 3 down lineman to adjust for the uptempo. If they had played with 4 the rotations would not of been as good and we would of been blown off the ball even worse. The problem was not the scheme it was the fact that michgan lacked depth. Also the glaring fact that our LB's are slow and cant tackle which became evident to everyone almost from the begining. This is not on Durkin its on lack of tallent and depth.

So frustrating to be 1-7 in last 8 against Sparty and 1-10 in last 11 against Ohio.  Frustrating but at the same time the sting is lessening on these losses.  We will try again next year and hope Jim has the players and has his team prepared.
