Michigan vs. Oklahoma softball open thread
It's the CWS so we're getting this one started early. Arizona State vs. Texas 7 PM Michigan vs. Oklahoma 9:30 PM
Mod edit: Taking a page from Seth's book and bumping the timestamp. If I'm not mistaken this is the last Michigan team playing, and their live event should be at the top over some other stuff. JGB.
Can runners on third with less than one out score on a fly-out the same way people can in baseball?
Less than two outs obviously.
I dated some softball babes btw
WOO! Safe at home!
manufacturing runs. WAY TO GO COACH
Great small ball
Them third base to first base throws
Should be a double play two-out, none on
Looked like a one hop, but only just. She sold it well coming up and throwing directly back to first but slow mo shows it bouncing up into her glove
Couple bad breaks in the bottom of the inning after a couple good ones in the top. Oklahoma is making some good contact now.
Doesn't look good. Maybe make the miracle run in the losers bracket.
78 pitches through 2.1, and it's 4-1
This is our worst nightmare.
Fellas (and ladies, for that matter), there's a good chance we don't see the 7th inning this evening.
ladies. Damn it all to hell.
at what point do you take driesenga out and plan for the losers bracket? I assume we have a third pitcher on the roster.
I don't think there's anyone viable.
We're just going to have to sit here and bleed.
If that fly ball to right had gone another couple inches in the air we might have gotten out of that one just fine. Not looking good now, though.
