That's actually what I am going with in my bracket. Likely? No. Possible and full of awesomeness? Fo shizzle
Michigan vs. Ohio State NCAA NCG?
Not sure what I think of the reality of the article, and the author obviously gives himself an out at the end. It's nice to dream, anyway.
I dunno, maybe it's just me, but I'm hoping for Michigan to take down Duke in the final.
Speaking for the more risk-averse fans, I would prefer to see Michigan in the NCG against just about anyone else.
Michigan vs. North Carolina A&T all the way!
They can only meet in the final 4. South and midwest meet in the final four.
I have Michigan over OSU as well
Ah, noted bro Gregg Doyel
brackets that's what I picked. I couldn't stand to pick them that far and know I was going with my heart on us a little, but I just see some favorable match-ups for our style. I think we have jitters and nerves the first game and its tighter than it should be but I believe a victory will take some of that away and then we can run.
Trey Burke Sr. has M winning it all:
...just became one of my favorite NBA players.
based off of complicated coin-flipping scenarios. We're gonna win it all. It's science
I have them losing to duke in the final by 1 point in one of mine. It's like I'm dreaming up the perfect pain.
I reached the same result utililizing the infallible Magic 8 Ball methodology
I have M, MSU, Ohio State, and Indiana in my FF, with M winning it all.
That's my B1G Homer bracket...love it.
Even if we make it to the title game (let's face it, the tournament is a crapshoot, and our overall play suggests we're not ready to make a deep run), Ohio State is honestly one of the last, if not the last team I'd want to play. I just don't think I could really handle losing to them with a national title at stake. It would ruin me.
Then again, in that crazy, wild scenario where we both made the title game and Michigan won, I'd make it my personal goal in life to never let any OSU fan live that game down, either.
Still, bottom line: I'd rather play just about anyone else.
I hope you don't take my tone in the post as not believing Michigan can win it all. I was more so commenting on the probability of an OSU-Michigan title game. That would be the ultimate win for a Michigan fan and would validate the B1G in so many ways. I just don't realistically see two B1G teams making the title.
I don't think it is unrealistic to see two B1G teams in the final at all. IU, Ohio, Michigan, State, and probably Wisconsin are all capable of a deep run. And Ohio/Wisconsin seem to have the weakest route to the Final 4. I don't think anyone would be that surprised to find two B1G teams in the final at all.
I have Michigan defeating IU and Louisville beating OSU
NCG I have Michigan winning 80-79
I have the same final four and outcome.
Who is Nate?
I did post it from my iPhone. I wonder if that could have an effect on it?
My bracket has a final 4 of MSU, OSU, Michigan, then Miami, with Miami taking it.
I have 5 B1G teams in my Elite Eight. Suppose that happens, but only 1 makes the FF, is that conference shame and fail?
someone will offer their prediction, and then say "book it".
at that point, we should probably book it.
this is my prediction.
I would have to move out of OHIO for real after that. To keep from hurting someone or them getting me first...
1976 Indiana vs Michigan with a Hoosier win. It's possible for a BIG match-up. Buckeyes and whiskey got the best bracket to make a run for the title. We can beat anyone in our bracket, but better dig deep. Gonna be a fun three weeks!
I like that CBS contributors actually respond to the articles comments.
That I remember was three from the Big East in 1985. Two is pretty common.
Michigan in fact has been in the Final Four three times with another Big Ten team. We lost to Indiana in the championship game in 1976, beat Illinois in the semi-finals in 1989 and did not play Indiana in 1992.
