Denard has a ton of heart. He is a good kid with a ton of character but I love all the people on this board who last week were talking about how much Denard has developed as a QB. The kid is a great running QB. The same issues that plagued Denard three years ago still plagued him today: decision making and throwing mechanics. Today's performance just reinforces all of the Kool Aid that many posters on this board drank after the UMass blowout.
Our D played very good, better than expected. Our OLine played well. Our Team is headed in the right direction. I love Hoke's comments after halftime. Go Blue!

Split Triple Post, impressive. Sounds like a pattern our recievers were running right before Denard passed to the wrong team

So I'm actually encouraged by this horrible horrible loss. Here's why:
- The defense really stepped up, especially against the run. Congrats to the linebackers, who looked a lot more assertive than they have previously.
- The offense DID have some success before committing yet another egregious turnover. Odds are Denard's not going to have another game even remotely close to this bad in the turnover department. If we only have one or two (or just have our customary success in the red zone), we win this game by a couple touchdowns
- Norfleet is a machine.
Listen, we all know that Michigan does and will have at the very least a competant offense. I was encouraged by what I saw on defense and special teams. This bodes well for competition in the New Big East.
Also, WTF Lewan? He got torched on the first couple of drives, not sure if he stepped up later or not without looking at the UFR.

I love all those posters last week talking about how Denard has progressed as a QB. Reality Check. Keep drinking that Sugar Free Kool Aid! Denard is a good kid but he is purely a running QB.. His decision making and his mechanics aren't much better than two years ago.
The coaching staff has us going in the right direction but as many other posters have said prior, we are a couple years away from bring real. Hopefully, we don't sh%& the bed in the pathetic B10. The B10 has been terrible for many many years but this year it has reached a new low. Hopefully, we can roll the pathetic B10. Go Blue!
