Down 10-0 at the half with 5 INTs. Can Hoke get the band back together in time to beat the Irish for the fourth year in a row?
But yes... I think so. It should be 10-10 or something close to that
You're correct. The band took a pretty big hit when the ND guy caught that pass out of bounds. I hope they can recover and make any costly mistakes at half time
You can sum up this sport in two words, 'You never know.'
So whoever cameb up with playing the "take a shot for every int" drinking game...I hates you
I could use a shot or five.
Abort, Retry, Fail?
If I jump in my car now I can get to Rochester in 6 hours 26 minutes according to mapquest. Is that a decent time for you?
Abort, Retry, Fail?
This game will not improve unless we stop allowing defenders an untouched passage to Denard.

GO BLUE!
Fairly well. Denard is not thinking when he throws and he is taking forever and a day to decide.
Very indecisive and unsure if himself...

Shaquille O’Neill: “I can’t really remember the names of all the clubs we went to.”
3 of his 4 ints have a virtually unblocked defender right in his face and he's throwing the ball too hard.
What if when the hatches finally open out of the UFOs come thousands of 100ft Native American Indians? We're going to be watching like "F%&# those are huge Indians! Please tell me they're not huge Indians."
In a way, Denard almost has too much time to throw. He's sitting in the pocket too long, until he reaches a point where he has to throw because he's not outside the pocket to run, and then just forces it toward a receiver who is covered (double covered? not in the area at all?)
Defense can be improved and will tighten up. Our INTs are absolutely killing us. If we can calm Denard down and start running something that resembles an offense, then we definitely can turn this around. Denard is the x-factor right now. Get him going, and this is completely possible. Let's do this thing! Go Blue!
He's a veteran. He knows what to do. Two of those picks are definitely on him, the pass to Gardner was on the money but gardner cut very slowly. The last pass all 3 receivers slowed down.
The D is actually playing well which makes this hurt even more. Run or throw it away.
If I say a duck can pull a truck, shut up and hook the sucka up!
Please tell me it gets better. I mean we're only down by 10 with 5 turnovers.
Go Blue! Let's crush the Irish in the second half.

GO BLUE
I've never been less worried about being shutout in the first half
"Michigan Defense" is dominating everything, in every aspect of life. That's a rough definition.

it will be nice to look back at the 2nd half of this and remember the great comeback to beat Notre Dame
We got them right where we want them

Good god...they came out strong and couldn't put anything on the board. That can't happen on the road. Very frustrating. And for whatever their problems in the running game and the OL, Denard does not need to be throwing interception after interception.
Yeah, that first half was....interesting.
Intensity is a lot of guys that run fast.
lets goblue!!!

ND's in trouble...Denard's playing right-handed for the second half.
And put in Devin or Russel? One more INT? No scoring in the 3rd? What?
Denard is not a passer period. Quite frankley he sucks. He has steadily gotten worse season to season. He's become so predictable as both a runner and passer that against semi good defenses he is no longer effective. Teams just ignore the play fake becasue no one else can run either. Sit him on the bench and let Gardner or Belomy give it a shot. How could the result be any worse.

Change for who?
Definitely not me.
What every longshot, come from behind, underdog will tell ya is this... The other guy, may in fact, be the favorite. The odds may be stacked against you, fair enough. But what the odds don't know is...this isn't a math test.
Denards interceptions in this game: over under
6, this game? I hope not.
Two hands worth?
I'm saying denard throws for 2 TDs and runs for 1.
245 yards for Michigan/denard in the 2nd half.

Is Bellomy coming in?Or is that wishful thinking.
"Are you an official here?Because you've officially given me a boner."
You honestly think a redshirt freshman qb with no significant game experience would be any better against that defense?
It's been a lot. Its been a roller coaster that for some reason seemed like it would never get good. But you know what? We kept fighting. It's like that old saying goes, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions." -David Molk
does he get a chance in the offense during the second half?
So whoever started that thread about worst qb performance earlier this week ... I hate you. That first half was a group effort with denard Vincent and Golston.
Touchdown Manningham! MICHIGAN WINS!
kicking off from the 50 after a 15 yard penalty and booming it through the endzone for a touchback.
Please, let 's try something else. Onside, squib, anything but that.
Anybody that seen the first half performance by the guy is an idiot rite?Riddle me that.Sit Denard to piss him off and maybe get him going.
"Are you an official here?Because you've officially given me a boner."
I think TheGhostOfYost should recieve a 1 week vacation to Bolivia. He is CLEARLY the one at fault for Denard's performance since he started the "Worst QB Performance of All-Time" thread during the Buffalo game...
5 ints right
