I am overall pretty happy with the defense this game. He has dialed up the pressure and tighter coverage. Much better plan and keeping our poor offense in the game.

I'm starting to think DB should pull the plug on Hoke. I just don't think he's a good coach. I know DB will give him plenty of time but this will just end up hurting our programs. All this losing will cause top recruit not to play here and will probably cause some of our top players to transfer. If offered, Miles would be our coach.

I have something positive to say about the offense. I better make it fast. I like the playcalling this drive. A missed pass by Gardner, but I liked the calls. If we executed it we would still be driving.

I will agree the two throws were bad execution but the 3rd down one he had 2 open receivers but got so scared of being sacked he chucks it to funchess for 1 yard..

People don't want to hear it, but a lot of our problems ARE execution-related. This is two straight possessions where we've had a pretty nice playcall on 2nd and 10 to get Gallon open, and neither has been completed. Gallon dropped the first and Gardner overthrew the second.
Guys have to step up. Our playbook is going to be limited by our inability to handle the inside blitz, so we can't keep wasting these opportunities.

Defense playing very well, all things considered. Gonna be a shame if we piss it all away with continued offensive ineptitude.
