Michigan vs. Northwestern Basketball Open Thread

What a difference a game makes. What would have seemed like a ho-hum Tuesday game is now a crucial game in the Big Ten title race after beating Ohio. As always, Go Blue!

Edit: For your entertainment, while we're waiting, for the students on the Blog, don't leave you evening companion to do the "walk of shame"...call her a shuttle-

McClimans is just not a good enough post player to play this much time. He's not a good defender and not a good finisher.

All of these 3s scare me, too. I know that's a good way to attack the 1-3-1, but I don't want us to be too reliant on them.

Shurna's release is really strange. He looks like that kid you don't pick in basketball because he never learned how to shoot properly.

In this particular case, it's hard to agree with benching both post players with 2 fouls for the whole first half, when your only option at the 5 is McClimans.  The kid cannot play in the Big Ten for 15 straight minutes.

Does McLimans attempt to jump for rebounds? He had perfect position but didn't even make the effort to jump and grab the ball, instead its an offensive board and 3 points for the Cats.

Well down 7 considering none of our good bigs played the last 14 minutes is okay. But we have not let the second worst rebounding team in the Big Ten kill us on the offensive glass.

I think there should be a ban against former players calling a game involving their alma mater.

Or just ban Shon Morris.  I'm good either way.
