Freshman making a big impact on this game.
Michigan vs. Northern Michigan Mens Bball Open Thread
Damn work comp sucks so bad that I can only get about 4 seconds of stream inbetween skips.
I really hope Thorin gets a capture of this.
One thing I've noticed is our big men are not setting very good screens. Would like to see better pick and roll action when Trey comes back.
I've only been watching for a few minutes but I also had that observation. We'll see what happens with that.
Gessh I'm chewing my nails like its the NCAA tournament. I want to see these frosh succeed so bad. I'm tired of all my Indiana friends chirping about there class but they are totally unaware of the class (the better class) we brough in.
29-13 Michigan with Albrecht going to the line after the break.
Morgan looks a lot skinnier this year ... ?
I hardly recognized Chrisler when I walked in amazing dig and now we have a team to defend it!!
A line-up is in with no freshman. They have yet to score.
The no freshman line-up has went 4 minutes without scoring...
These student announcers are absolutely brutal. "That advantage is an advantage."
Give them a break. You can't expect Gus Johnson type of commentary with these student run broadcasts.
Yeah, I'm pretty forgiving but these guys clearly don't know much about basketball. If you're gonna be a broadcaster, you should really know more about the game.
Why are they doubling every screen?
I hate that our c is trying to slide in for a charge on a layup rather than going for the trailing block
Feed craps out on me every three seconds. :(
I thought it was because my work comp is a toaster.
It's not just you, I ended up having to just switch on the radio and Shep isn't even doing the PBP tonight.....stupid Eastern football.
Indiana is struggling vs Indiana Wesleyen
McGary missed 2 free throws, didn't look good at all on them.
I know it's hugely premature and the feed sucks, but Stauskas is good. So smooth out there in his shot, dribble and body control.
McGary doing well on the boards.
McGary with rebound, basket, and the foul.
McGary with rebounds off of 2 different sets of free throws...And then making a later free throw (that one looked good haha).
Robinson, basket and the foul with a nice pass from Hardaway
Our freshmen are good.
38-21 Michigan at the half.
Ughh, lack of awareness at the end of the half. Definitely excited with the freshman play that half. Can't wait to see what Trey can do with them.
They've allowed NMU to go on a run. Yes, I blame the Announcers
I'm actually surprised at how good they are. Student announcers are typically atrocious.
Double dribble on number 35! Where''s the ref?!
Team reminds me a lot of the Fab Five first year in that they would go on runs but then let the other team back in it. Defense is going to have to improve but it is to be expected with Freshman.
It's hard to play sound team defense when you're changing lineups this much.
Ya that is true. There have been times they looked really good on D but there has also been /facepalm moments.
Can someone update on leading scorers, rebounders?
Awesome. Thanks man. I went to ESPN but they don't believe there is a game happening apparently.
They probably listed them during the half but I wasn't listening. I don't see anything showing stats.

Spike looks pretty good. I feel better about him spelling Burke. Northern Michigan and all, but he's a very competent back up it seems
Did anyone else feel that chill when all 5 freshmen were in the game at the same time..spooky!
lol ya it was great. Not nearly as athletic as the Fab Five but can shoot the lights out.
One of the impressive things is that with all these freshman out there Michigan only has four turnovers so far.
Albrecht for 3
