And I agree with him. We played a sloppy game last night, NMU had plenty of chances to break it open but they couldn't. We need a stronger effort this evening.

Hopefully the refs have had a chance to review what a crosscheck is.

I am more convinced than ever that many refs....especially hockey refs...feel their "job" is to equalize talent inequity through penalty calls.  It's almost as if they feel sorry for teams of lesser ability and in an effort to make it an even game they tilt the calls in their favor.

If you've ever watched the calls made at a 8-9 year old anything (baseball, basketball, soccer, hockey, etc) you'd know what i mean.  And i swear these officials are doing the same thing just with older "kids" so to speak.

I'll bet they invite the NMU players to go for an ice cream cone after that game.

Has anyone here ever sat in Section 9 in yost? I did last night...never again.
