Michigan vs. Nebraska Basketball Open Thread

First time that's ever been a subject line.  Don't want to put too much into one game, but as a winnable road game coming off a loss, it'd be nice to get this one.  8:30 BTN (assuming MSU/PSU doesn't run long for some dumb reason).  Go Blue, make it just like football.

kind of a big deal

Not impressed with Beileins offense this big ten season so far. Still doesn't have a counter to teams hedging the high pick and roll, not executing on any backdoor plays his offense is supposedly known for. Just very disappointing offense.

What I wouldn't give for a dominating 20+ point win. I don't care if its home or away. Just go smoke someone we're supposed to (even better if it's someone we're not supposed to beat)

Not sure if you're talking about this game or the year but this game has been his best game that I've seen in terms of shot selection.  Still way to many 3s though and if he's not making them then he needs to give a head fake and squeeze a mid-range jumper.

His shot selection for the year has been horrible.  He needs to drive way more often which in turn will make us a much, much better team.

The guys are starting to look relaxed again.  Maybe they should play a scout team half before the game starts to get the bad stuff out of the way? lol

Wow. If we could have gotten Horford back and kept Morgan fresh, we'd have won a few more games.  Jordan's really good when he's not tired or on the bench with fouls.

I will love Hardaway forever if he plays like this the rest of the year.  I love that he's driving for a change and when he does that, he becomes so much more effective and opens up the perimeter.

I've always wondered why Jordan Morgan isn't a primary option very often. He's getting lots of easy looks tonight and seems to be very solid down low. It seems like he either scores 14 or 6 per game; nights like this make me wonder why there are those low-scoring games.

Am I just overvaluing his abilities? Does he get into foul trouble too often? He has some good post moves and is the only guy on our team who could be considered an inside threat.

Morgan's looking amazing today.  Making himself available for those cuts and finishing much stronger.  I would still love to see him make a monster jam, just to add more momentum and excitement.
