Michigan vs MSU MBB Open Thread

T-minus 60 minutes to game time.  I just got off a long day of work and am looking forward to a great game.  Figured we could fire this thing up early here to get some conversation going for this huge game.  

If Michigan wins today we will be the first team to beat 3 top ten teams in a row in a season since Iowa did in 1986-87 (per ESPN stats and info).

Go Blue!  BEAT STAEE.

7-1.  Next time I tell you youngsters what's going to happen officiating-wise you should beleive me.    We have gotten fucked in East Lansing since about 1973 so this is no surprise to me.  It's only surprising if you're too young to have experienced it about 15 times before.

oh no doubt, obiously by design though w izzo incessantly badgering refs no matter the call.  izzo watched coach k and dukes style work for years and took a page...bump cutters, bump on boards, wild hands, excessive body contact, etc, basically commit a foul every single possession and the refs cannot call it....have to let you play by defaul therefore dictating style and tempo like duke and msu do so well and now louisville does, among others....and since those coaches have won big and carry so much clout, theyre geniuses and the style is 100% legal (not saying theyre not great coaches, just not god-like and much of its illegal but uncalled....ie izzo has his guys drilled to perfection every yr on locating the ball while never losing contact or forfeiting position and swarming glass as team like few others).   this game similar to lville title game in few ways so far though....um playing finesse type game relyiing on mostly jump shots as they typically do against aggressive and athletic in-your-face defenses while msu rips and runs and bascially rapes the opponent at every opportunity and does whatever it takes to win, just like lville.   please grip the hell of the ball on all rebounds and present the elbows...an elbow foul defending your board is better than allowing msu to bend you over mid-rebound just like lville.  and robinson, are you just a run and jump athlete who disappears for streches on D and on boards?  show something against big boy competition, at least balls to wall nonstop effort and awareness if nothing else, earn yourself some money little dog

Sports as i have over the years this officiating doesn't surprise me. With 3 mins left mich will start getting calls trust me

Just keep it within single digits at the half and regroup, prep for more 8 on 5 ball. 

It's definitely not just the fouls though, their offense is doing really well and ours is not.

If this is how it's going to be, they're is no sense in watching. How Stauskas wasn't fouled there is beyond me, but it's not just that. They are tilting the game to negate any aggression on our part.

I told everybody what would happen and it's happening.  As it has in EVERY game we've played their since 1973.  I'm amazed that anyone is surprised by this.....IT HAPPENS EVERY FUCKING YEAR THERE PEOPLE.  THE REFS ARE PUSSY'S AND AFRAID OF THEIR CROWD AND IZZO AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN.
