Michigan vs. Minnesota early games Open Thread
can't he catch punts? gallon certainly can't. how many time do we have to watch this?
That was a blatant block in the back. Extremely stupid too.
Gallon out, every week he does this
This might sound arrogant, and if it is, it is. We’re Michigan.
Gallon makes poor choices every game as a punt returner. His choice whether to field punts or fair catch leaves us deep in our own territory every week.
This might sound arrogant, and if it is, it is. We’re Michigan.
Saw that block in the back coming a mile away, sigh.

Besides Gibbons, our special teams have been terrible. Hagerup, punt return, Norfleet and kick coverage have all been subpar.
Every time something good happens, something bad has to follow. Can we ever get field position? Thank God for the defense.
that last drive gave us some confidence on offense
the defense is gonna D
I'm scared and we are playing the gophers. This is no fun.

Why a guy like Nelson can step in and play poised and well as a true freshman, but a guy like Bellomy didn't, at least in his last outing. Now I know Nelson didn't get thrown into a road game against Nebraska when he wasn't expecting to play so the dynamics are a little different. But, he seems poised, is making good decisions, and is moving his team offensively. And, both are pretty similarly ranked recruited with Bellomy probably being a little higher rated. It just makes you wonder...why can't we do that?
Strength equipment is expensive and guarantees you nothing. A strong will is free and can give you everything you want.
And again....

Apparently we only like to block when the defenders have their backs towards us.
Can we self destruct any more and still be tied if we were playing anyone but minnesota. Nice pass Gardner!!

Roundtree, so nice of you to join us!
Gardner is clutch. Am I still an idiot for wanting him to play QB last week?
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

I hate to say it, but DG reminds me of Braxton Miller. Like, a lot.

I do it for my love of the Streets
Despite our horrid blocking
Hail! to the Victors Valiant Hail!
Devin looks to be settling down

Somebody needs to make a Devin Gardner appreciation thread. This guy is a coach's dream. He's done everything the program has asked of him and more.
He came in as the Rivals number one overall ranked QB, and took a back up role behind Denard. He stayed on through the coaching change and bought into his role as a sort of hybrid QB/RB in our "Joker" packages last year. Then, this year, he moved to receiver because we really needed an outside threat, and has performed as well as anyone could possibly expect at that position. Now, when called upon to move back to QB mid-season, he's done so, and we haven't heard anything out of him other than he's a fantastic teammate and a really positive, upbeat kid.
Devin Gardner, you sir, are one of a kind.

Starting to feel slightly better about next year.

Was that block in the back really necessary?!
