Then run a throwback pass to our lumbering, white, QB...and he'll run up the right sideline for the score and we'll go on to win a frustrating game?

So what's the bigger story, us only scoring 14, or them scoring at all, let alone leading at the half? Still a ton of football left to play, but this game is just..

Here's the deal...the D has been pretty inconsistent. They've also been incredibly unlucky. Yet we still held them 3 out of 4 times to just a field goal, bad luck and all. Honestly Minny should have at least 4-8 more points than they do now, since two of the stops were on the goalline. And our offense has been bad most the half. Quite frankly we're lucky to be down by only 2.

It's been annoying..,but the team has so much more in them, and it's far to early to push a panic button. Minnesota is also playing out of its mind. And lest we forget, they DID beat us last year. That's an intangible that's gotta be in both teams' minds too. It's Hard to exorcise past demons.

sure, you could argue breaks havent gone michigans way - but good teams obviously overcome those issues and make sure they still do enough to consistently beat inferior teams.  and players on good teams do not drop numerous INTs, blow multiple coverages, etc, they make a play to alter the game when it matters.

obviously michigans O is just awful.

what i dont understand is why the coaches altered personnel and scheme on D as they did for this game.  everyones dressed / playing and no one appears injured so they mightve just overthought it during the week.  theyve excelled most this year in nickel and dime D, not 3 LB packages - why change this game?  rely on the front to control much of the run and continue playing nickel and dime so these LBs are not continually abused in playaction.  their LBs are solid, smart players but theyre not great and they can be attacked - and this game the playaction game is killing them (along with missed INTs, force defenders failing to contain QB runs, etc).  just dont see great value added by ross or bolden or now it appears allen gant as 3rd LBs in many sets - theyre not playing lsu or someone like that where it may be necessary, its minnesota, they need to be able to win by doing whats worked for much of the year

Lots of fair weather fans who jumped on the band wagon and now realize what it's like being a Michigan fan. One bad half and we all have PTSD and many of the post I have been reading are very low on the football knowledge scale. All the bitching about Rudock changes nothing. I trust Harbaugh knows who the best option is at QB and it's obviously not Morris, or he would be in the game. Does everyone else agree?

It's funny how butt hurt they are for me stating the facts. The game is not over and talking down upon our own team when it's not the end of the world, should make you ashamed. Our Head Coach is no longer Rich Rodriguez, we didn't almost lose to UTSA this season. It could be worse.
