Michigan vs. Michigan State/Early Games Open Thread

Submitted by M-Wolverine on

As always, I direct you to the LIVEBLOG on the front page, but for those who can't log into it, can't keep up, or just like the open format, here you go. Plus it saves maybe half of the halftime threads.

And if you're like me, you kinda switch back and forth between the two depending on which Michigan seems to be playing best while you're in it.

I logged on expecting to read uniform apocolypse .... but on this thread at least, it's strongly positive.  I agree, though I hesitate mostly b/c I just wonder what type of changes - and *most importantly how many changes* - are coming down the road.

But for this uni's themselves, me likes!

Now, Mr. Brandon, don't go crazy every week, OK?

Even if Hemingway didnt get tangled with the db that ball looked way over thrown. If denard can start hitting some deep balls consistently our offense would go to another level!

Al Borges is officially a fucking idiot.  STOP taking Denard out, and STOP calling these damn sandlot plays and deep bombs!!  It looks like our offensive gameplan so far is "act like a drunk fucking twelve year old and make up stupid ass plays on the fly."

Terrible play calling so far. Keep DR in at QB to get some sort of rhythm. Every now and then with Devin is fine as long as you keep Denard on the field. But it is almost every other play right now.

I agree. Urban makes a good point that if DG is one the best 11 on O & I think he is you gotta get him in there. Saying that he has missed two wide open receivers down field.

This team still does a good job (lineman, TE's, etc.) getting outside and lead blocking for Denard when plays break down.  (see TD, Koger = beast!)  Does this significantly drop off with next year as we move past RR's recruits and coaching?
