I'll guarantee that MSU fans will claim that they're the "real" conference champions after this faux tournament. The problem with that is the rules and record book say otherwise.

They can squawk all they want. I'll just point to the two games we beat them this season and the conference title trophy currently sitting in Crisler Center.
Just ask them what would've happened if we had McGary. It won't change their mind, but it might make them pause for a second.
And Michigan fans would pound their chests about winning this tournament too. It would be a big deal and we'd all be saying "we won the regular season AND the tournament championship."
It's not like we'd just leave it out when talking about this season.

Caris Levert is playing like shit, minus a shot or two he's made. Terrible shot there with Payne guarding him, pretty much puts them in transition and is a turnover-like shot. I liked HOrford's move to the basket, just tough going.
