It wasn't a far fetched comment...it was, it was actually more of a "captain obvious" comment than anything.

It wasn't "if we ran for 1000 yards then we might have 100 points." It was simply if we didn't shit the bed (which should be expected), then we'd at least have 10 more points and they wouldn't have any. That's all...

It's reasonable to expect not to shit the bed. You're not asking for more...you're just saying "damn, if we didn't hurt ourselves."

Why is that such a bad train of thought for a message board?

Marshall put 42 on this team and EKU held them to 10 points on the road. It's not a great win, and Hoke clearly isn't the guy. But, let's try and enjoy the win. Go Blue

And then get 7 more...I think 38-10 will make us all feel just a touch better.

I wasn't making an excuse about that 10 minute debacle we had, I was simply saying that's the difference between this sickening "whatever" feeling most of us have and us feeling at least "good" about this game. Right now we'd all be talking about putting Shane Morris in.

But it did happen and it was unacceptable...but we've got a shot to get 14 points in two drives and really leave the game at least indifferent rather than utterly disappointed.

OK now that drive I've got to give Green some serious credit... he actually broke a couple tackles along the way and showed some burst.  Good job.

Bottom line is that this game shouldn't have been close, but it was for three quarters. If you think that this Michigan team will compete with OSU and MSU, then send me some of the stuff you are smoking or drinking because those games are blowouts waiting to happen.
