I'd go as far as to say that there's more sweat going on in a hockey game than a mid or late season football game by a good amount. Plus, most rinks are something like mid-50's, so it's not like playing outside.

I am amazed at how rank a rink gets after a game. We had a college tournament (Northwestern, Iowa, Michigan-Flint,etc...) at a rink in our town, and the smell of three days of games hung around for days.

My mom wouldn't let my gloves near any civilized part of her house. When I showered after games, I'd actually wash my hands with bodywash to hide just how bad it could get. Hockey gear is awful, given how much sweat gets into it.

Great to see him soaking up the college atmosphere but I hope he doesn't forget to keep studying. We need him around next year.
I know there was no way I was able to hit all the football, basketball and hockey games and keep my grades up at the same time. I can't even imagine the time constraints placed on football players during the season. Especially with those extra long practices.

on MGoBlue, synthesized with the highlight video, he talks about the running of Hunwick and says something about how, all Michigan can do is send the plays, repeatedly, into the conference and wait for them to take control of the situation and that, "I don't think they've done a good job of that, yet". The blatant running of Hunwick has become absolutely ridiculous. At this rate, we'll be lucky to have a healthy Hunwick through February, much less any NCAA tournament run. I get that it happens and sometimes you don't have a lot of control as the offensive player, I get there's almost certainly going to be a little extra, especially around the goalie and not all of that has to be or should be called, but this isn't just the normal squabbling that goes on, this is straight up dirty. Though honestly, it surprises me much less from Miami than it did from Notre Dame.
