Michigan Vs. Maryland Open Thread...

Submitted by LSAClassOf2000 on

Here's your open thread for Michigan / Maryland - 'tis an awful weather day here in MI, but let's beat the Terrapins all the same. I, for one, have two glasses of port wine in me already, so I am set.

Don't fricking kick to Likely holy heck we knew they would do it. My gosh thank goodness they brought him down. It will take all three phases to win this game. Have to step up defense and offense if you want to go bowling this in a few weeks.

Gotta love how not doing the spread punt continues to bite Michigan in the ass.  Marcus Ray is high, thinking there's any way that retaining Hoke is not a complete disaster for this program.  We're now hilariously awful team.

Man I'm so glad we don't do the much more effective sheild punt formation! I just love giving up 30 yard returns all the time! It just, it brings so much joy to my heart.

I'm 36 and have seen apt if good michigan football, but shit, I can't seem to remember it's been so long. What are we watching. There are people around here this week that have argued we're getting better??? WTF are they talking about?

Do you fire Hoke before or after the bowl game? (likely 12/26)

He's gone either way...but would you let him coach the bowl before you fire him/force him to resign?

why do we take the most inexplicable timeouts. I feel like we've never had all 3 timeouts to try some clock management at the end of the half or game. Not like Hoke would manage it correctly anyway.

These first half TOs honestly don't bother me that much.  If we prevent the conversion, or better yet a sack to make the FG harder, it has more benefit to them team than squirreling them away for the offchance we find ourselves running a 2 minute drill right before half.  This a potential clear benefit here, whereas we may or may not need them before half.
