I think part of the problem with the defense is that our offense is to good.  Look at TOP.  The defense can't get a breather.  I mean, I love 50 second drives.  But that doesn't help our defense.

I was thinking about this just now.  Has there been any other team in recent memory....  or ever for that matter.... with such a huge disparity in the performance levels of their O and D as M this year?

We need to drive the field, take some time off the clock and score, get us a lead and PRAY our D don't let them back in the game...

Pam Ward actually raised a good point there about keeping Denard off the field.

That's really the only way to contain him....  Keep him on the bench and our defense on the field.  Other teams will probably take note of how well this has worked for Indiana.  Obviously, other coaches in the B10 know our D is awful, but, the awfulnesses, IMO, has been amplified this game b/c they've been kept on the field for so long, plus, it keeps Denard off the field and thus unable to make plays.
