The game is on BTN right now currently 1st quarter 7-7 score
that's unfortunate, but at least the interest is there on both sides
I wonder if it'll be a shootout?
It was a comedy show on HBO before Detroit was wired for cable and we were pulling it off a sattelite with a special antennae.
They showed some dumb clip of a pro team (LA Rams?) kicking a field goal, which was good. They then say, "Let's watch that on replay." And without a camera cut, you see the team run to the same spot line up and miss it. I don't know why that still cracks me up, but your comment reminded me of it.
I'm really hoping Stribling comes down with the ball still in his hands this time.
That one was just bad luck that the receiver was perfectly positioned to snatch that back. Once he hits the weights some more Stribling hopefully will have strong enough hand to squeeze that better. I think he and Lewis are going to be very good. With Peppers fighting for that spot too there's gonna be a hell of a competition in the secondary. If they all pan out we could be perfectly set up to defend Ohio's spread whereas they're little DBs are gonna have a hell of a time against our tall receivers. (Let me dream. My tigers and lions both choked hard this weekend).
It was actually just a freshman mistake. He thought the ball was coming right to him and he would cradle catch it like a receiver. The receiver snuck in and snagged it.
Stribling will learn to high point it and not get robbed again.
I believe we ran 83 plays on offense yesterday, if I counted correctly, so the Offense UFR should be about the same length as that of the previous game, but with a decidedly better ending and 295 yards of rushing.
The Defensive UFR, on the other hand...
I think the real question is wether or not it will be longer than the Minnesota UFRs comebined.
I actually got pissed watching Gibbons FG blocked and had to flip to nfl
He's always been a low kicker. I am actually surprised it took this long since Hoke got here for these blocks to happen. it wasn't the line's fault that's for sure.
I was at the game yesterday so this is the first time I'm seeing the TV broadcast.
Who is the color analyst? His voice is really annoying.
he's very excitable and likes Michigan, not sure why. One of the best Goofer coaches ever.
he's an inter sting fellow
I hope we're playing defense this time
On the mgoblue highlights they don't show the Funchess hurdle and it makes me kinda sad. He is lucky he didn't get seriously hurt there, but that was amazing!
I was only able to listen to the game yesterday, heard it described, and was hoping to see it on the B1G Network replay.
There is a great still shot on Touch the Banner though.
I was waiting to see lame posts like "I wonder who wins" or something to that effect.
Wow. That is a disturbing stat. Turnovers have led to 55 points for our opponents this year.
For some reason Michigan seems to turn it over a lot more on their side of the 50 than the opponents and a lot seem to happen within MIchigan's 25. Over 7 games, the opponents essentially start out up 7 points.
Good news is if we can stop we could win every game - been spotting a lot of easy points.
Anyone know what the dileo with Dileo was yesterday? I noticed he was on the sidelines suited up but had a headset with no helmet. I don't remember him on the field at any point. Did he have a booboo? I don't think I saw anything about this on the board.
was calling the offensive plays
Drew Dileo and Joey Burzynski were both dinged up. How are they doing? “We’ll see about both of them.”
Does that answer your question?
He didn't say boo boo, so maybe a real injury.
here comes our fumble inside the five yard line. GRRRRrrr
But we get to see the Funches leap first. The reaction in the stadium yesterday was funny. Woooooahhhhhhh!
I don't know how long the replays are up, but it was up yesterday night. I like watching the TV broadcast after actually being there because I miss so much at the stadium. I didn't even know Bosch played until I got home and looked at the board. Looked like he had a pretty good game; maybe one blown block, but pretty solid otherwise. I imagine he's probably going to play the rest of the season since they burned his redshirt.
