Should be a good game tonight. Ferris State is the #1 defense in the land, but Michigan is ranked 7 and has been on fire lately.

At Michigan Hockey Net, too.  http://michiganhockey.net

According to Jeff Arnold at AnnArbor.com, Ferris is starting Taylor Nelson in net over senior Pat Nagle, which is a total head scratcher if true.  Nagle is #3 in the nation in GAA with a 1.75.  Nelson has a 3.04 GAA and has only played three games.

Yale made it as far as Michigan last year. They beat north Dakota before losing to BC in a hellofa lot better game than Miami gave them. In fact, if Yale had beat BC and Michigan beat Miami (or had their victory over Miami been officially acknowledged, Yale and Michigan would have played one another in the frozen four semis. (fun fact: they also would have played each other the year before, if They both hadn't lost their respective opening games.) Anyway, Yale is a really fun team to watch -- built on speed and passing. They're one third period meltdown from being undefeated. Looking for common opponents? There is just one: Yale 5, CC1 and UM 6, CC 5.

Pateryn blast just missed, SCORE!

Pateryn blast missed just right, went off the end board, puck dumped back in front by Hagelin and Brown finishes it off

3-2 Michigan !

Don't know if this is common knowledge, but Hogan is being interviewed on CBS College Sports and says he's aiming for a return for the Michigan State game in two weeks.
