I'd like to see Hawthorne at LB he is fast and can chase down these triple option RB of AF. Desmond Morgan looks really slow out there.

AF really runs a very up tempo offense. It's early but didn't expect them to move the ball like this.

I am not in my section this week but I can hear the guys ten rows back with their usual annoying refrains of "shake your head", "get your head in the game" and otherwise yelling at Greg Mattison. 

Some D adjustments do seem indicated, however.

to playing against an option. Getting a 3 yard push, doesn't really help here. Probably tentative.

I mean, BWC was pushing around kids in high school, and these USAF guys are like 260lbs. I'm sure he could knock them over, but it would only hurt the team.

Why? They are moving the ball very consistently. No reason for them to think they can't win straight up against us yet. If we respond with a TD now then it may be a different story.

this game might be closer than we'd like. hopefully denard doesn't score in two plays every time, though. our defense needs some form of a breather.
