Michigan visited EJ Levenberry Today
I know this can go in the EJ Levenberry thread, but I thought it was thread worthy...mods delete if you disagree
Sam Webb tweeted that he heard "michigan and fsu have been in EJ Levenberry's school today"

Hearing that #Michigan and Florida State have already been in E.J. Levenberry's school today
I still believe we can land him because... This is Michigan FERGODSAKES!!!! no other reason needed.
If hoke decided to point at EJ at some point during his incidental contact, the recruiting battle is over
what do you guys think MICHIGAN OR FSU?GO BLUE!!!
At some point it becomes academic, but who was the last Michigan recruit who had a list of offers like young Mr. Levenberry? He's been offered by virtually every big program save for a couple of PAC12 schools. I presume that they were, each and every one of them, serious, committable, real offers.
any other day during the recruiting process.
It is my understanding that no contact is permitted with a junior except for on campus visits, only one of which can be paid by the school. See below which is a summary of the NCAA Division I manual:
Art. 13.1.1 (“Off-campus recruiting contacts shall not be made with an individual (or his or her relatives or legal guardians) before July 1 following the completion of his or her junior year in high school . . . .”). Article 13.02.4 of the NCAA Bylaws defines “contact” as “any face-to-face encounter between a prospective student-athlete or the pro-spective student-athlete’s parents, relatives or legal guardians and an institutional staff member or athletics representative during which any dialogue occurs in excess of exchange of a greeting.
The schools may be on campus and may be talking to a coach, but not to EJ. A coach cannot even initiate phone (text or otherwise) contact the recruit until his or her senior year.
Choosing a major is overated anyways. They are really just a gateway to something else. Hoke > criminal justice.
There are plenty of career paths that would be incredibily difficult to follow without the right undergrad program. Not saying criminal justice is one (I frankly don't know enough about it) such path, but let's not over generalize.

Tomorrow I expect Florida State to receive a commitment from Virginia linebacker E.J. Levenberry.
The ‘Noles have been recruiting EJ Levenberry since the end of his freshman year. He and the FSU staff have a longstanding relationship, he’s come to games and recently spent an entire week in Tallahassee with his family. Levenberry’s strongest relationship is with FSU DL coach Odell Haggins.
I feel there are things that Levenberry likes about both Michigan and Florida State. However, the fact that Michigan doesn’t have Levenberry’s major, is a big plus for FSU’s chances.
Levenberry’s announcement will take place tomorrow at 3pm. I’ll update this if something changes between now and his announcement.
