Randle was shuffling his feet on that final drive. Not surprised we blew that 10 point lead though. Tough game. Hopefully Horford learns how to defend and box out during halftime.

Need more scoring from GR3 and someone else. Morgan needs to stay out of foul trouble and play a lot of minutes. Horford needs to stay on the bench. Go Blue!

I doubt anyone is surprised and I'm honestly not even that mad because it's almost men against boys down there, but a championship team ought to be able to offer at least token resistance inside.

I really don't mean to be negative.  If anything, it's a big compliment for this team when they have overcome such a severe and glaring weakness to have so much success this season.  And it's not their fault Mitch got hurt.  This is a totally different game with a healthy McGary inside.  I just hope at some point in the near future we can get some help down low, or there will always be a ceiling over where this team can go.  It might be a much higher ceiling than it'd be under any other coach or scheme, but expecting a team without a single defensive presence inside to win it all is asking a hell of a lot.

I don't think I'm being negative.  In fact, I said under the circumstances it says a lot about how far this team has been able to go.  I never even said we were going to lose this game.

I do agree that Kentucky is basically just plowing into people on some of those plays, too.  Some.  And we've gotten away with some contact of our own - we're fortunate a few of those finishes didn't come with an additional free throw.  They're letting the teams play for the most part, which is something a lot of us actually ask for right up until it works against us, and it's going against us today.  But yeah, I agree Kentucky is basically just ramming the ball in there and seeing what'll happen on some of the plays.

As soon as I knew this was the matchup I told my dad that Randle would be pushing and plowing down the lane and that is exactly what's happening. He's going to get away with it all game. The fact they called Morgan for a block when Randle lowered his shoulder and literally  ran him over is asinine.

It's not basketball...it's football until they decide to go into their shot. It's bullshit is what it is and it should be called...or all the defender to be equally as physical and give a no call. I'm okay with that too.

So extreme on optimism / pessimism.  If you would have told me that Levert and Morgan have 2 fouls, only Stauskus is scoring, and they'd have almost 30 points in the paint (many off put-back dunks), I would expect to be down 10.

I love how this game is playing out. I'm a nervous wreck, but I love it.  We're more battle tested.

The only problem with us and the 3-ball is when they start dropping we stop moving on offense. Our three game is predicated off of our ability to move and penetrate, then drive and dish to open looks.

We cant afford to come out flat.

Get some open looks from three, maybe try some zone. No reason we can't win this game by 5-10. Make UK shoot. Just camp all 5 guys in the lane

Well played first half.  I think Michigan is going to have to have a double digit lead late in order to pull this out.  I don't think we can stop them inside, so it is going to come down to free throws and holding on to a lead if they can get it.

We haven't been playing well in the second half lately. Getting more beer to get through the second half. Nerves are killing me

and somehow the score is 37-37. We've just been dominated in every aspect of the game, don't even know why bother playing this half. A 37-37 deficit is basically impossible to comeback from

So you're just going to keep doing what you've been doing even though it hasn't been working?

If you go zon Randle can't lower his shoulder and bowl through everyone.

I'm not saying the entire half...but you have to give them different looks.

Praying GRIII gets 40 more lbs in 5 minutes just isn't working.
