Had it going. Hopfully Burke was saving his best for Saturday. Nice to see GRIII stroking it again. Hopefully having more guys peaking these next few games.

They actually looked like the team that was #1 at one point from about 10:00 to go in the first half on.
I hope Saturday's game is noon or 7 because M Hockey plays Miami (NTM) at 4:35
1. McGary makes some boneheaded mistakes sometimes, but man I love that guy's energy.
2. THJ and Robinson 16-22. That's just not fair.

That was Akron. Two sick, one injured. After losing their point guard, this will make the VCU game a straight blows outs.

the first round was actually the first round, two years ago, because you had the "play-in" game at that time. Now the "play-in" game is called the "1st round".

I had tickets to the 2nd and 3rd round games in Cleveand in 2011. The team that OSU played won in the First Foiur to advance to the 2nd round. Michigan's beatdown of Tennessee was in the 2nd Round and the game against Duke was in the 3rd round..
but I felt we were the better team from the start of the game, it was just a matter of if we were gonna take it or not. We took it. Especially McGary, GRIII, and THJ
i hope Burke realized that if he distribute the ball first and try not to be the scorer, thst we will be a dangerous team to contend with.
I seem to recall him averaging 17 or 18 ppg all season. Seems like trying to score has worked out so far
Well in 6 of those 12 it worked and it's not a stretch to say that it should have been 8 of 12, so..(not counting the BTT game)

The Burke-Wolters showdown was kind of disappointing

Wolters: So glad he was basically a non-factor. Excellent job by the D to mostly neutralize him.
physical with Wolters, it seemed to me, and the officiating was letting the contact go. I think it made him uncomfortable, Burke had to play with a lot of contact too. Refs have allowed a lot of contact on him all year and he has still hit shots. Tonight they didn't drop. Most were good looks. 2-3 seemed rushed in an effort to get going but overall I liked how he didn't try to force it too much. Found his teammates and played good D.

I personally think GR3 and THJ should be back for another year, but if they both get hot in the tourney and increase their draft stock, it bodes well for our chances to may some noise and have a deep run.
