Had it going.  Hopfully Burke was saving his best for Saturday.  Nice to see GRIII stroking it again.  Hopefully having more guys peaking these next few games.

Resting Morgan?  Keeping him fresh for VCU?

1. McGary makes some boneheaded mistakes sometimes, but man I love that guy's energy.

2. THJ and Robinson 16-22.  That's just not fair.

3. How the Burke fall wasn't a foul is beyond me.

... his own player bumped into him according to Coach's explanation from the refs.  I found this bit amusing:

"That was a scary moment for us. One thing I know - the kid is tough as nails,'' Michigan coach John Beilein said. "That was not a good feeling, but I saw him sort of move quickly right away, felt he was going to be fine, then I went about my business of arguing with the officials. But apparently it was our own player that knocked him off balance.''

Thanks for the clarification...I caught it at the tail end.

Well, let's hope Trey got his bad game of the season out and now it's time to be the best player in the country.

Should be a great game, I think (and hope) we come out on top.

but I felt we were the better team from the start of the game, it was just a matter of if we were gonna take it or not. We took it. Especially McGary, GRIII, and THJ

I'm not saying that he wasn't awesome in those games, just that him being awesome doesn't always translate into wins. The team had a different mentality last night than they did for most of the Big 10 season because of the way Trey played. Not trying to jump to conclusions because GR3 was actually knocking down shots an McGary was on fire, but it's at least worth noting.

physical with Wolters, it seemed to me, and the officiating was letting the contact go. I think it made him uncomfortable, Burke had to play with a lot of contact too. Refs have allowed a lot of contact on him all year and he has still hit shots. Tonight they didn't drop. Most were good looks. 2-3 seemed rushed in an effort to get going but overall I liked how he didn't try to force it too much. Found his teammates and played good D.
