Wasn't always pretty until the end.
71-56 MICHIGAN!
3rd Round here we come!
Thoughts? Thoughts.
I believe Dykstra just apologized to Coach Beilein for the hard foul at the end of the game when it was out of hand.
If so, very classy.
Best of luck to SDSU next year.
“True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat. Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise — the other, loyalty.”
i missed the live blog oh so much.
If you don't like Michigan you are a peasant
Please help. I need to know what "snowflakes" means in the blog world. What is the origin? I've been wondering this for years.
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. - Ephesians 6:11
I usually use snowflakes when we lose in Football or Basketball, but I got yelled at a few weeks ago after a win when I just put "Postgame Thread" so now I always make sure "snowflakes" is in there.
That said, there is a story behind it. I think MWolverine would know.

I think everyone has a thought (that is probably repetative) that they think is unique. Unique like a special snowflake. Just a guess, though...

It's this. Put your "unique" thoughts here.
The Team, The Team, The Team.
Pretty much all online forums/communities are basically a circlejerk.
After football games, everyone created his own thread entitled, "Michigan should run the ball better" or "I am unhappy." I put in a rule that you couldn't create a post-game thread that was just the stuff that people were already discussing in existing threads. It's called the snowflake rule because not everyone's unsupported and repetitive opinion is a special little snowflake that needs to be shared.
Now people create a thread after games in which people can put their own random thoughts.
BiSB instituted it this past football season when after a game there would be thirty different threads about the game and most of them similar. So the snowflake came into effect as being one post where original thoughts and different thoughts would all be posted in one place. Not ten threads about "This team doesn't have heart" or something stupid or similar to that.
But then that guy rage-quit, so why we still follow his directives is beyond me.
That guy lost.

Michigan won by more than Sparty!

It ain't easy being cheesy
And to think, all those Sparty fans who rush ordered their SDSU gear so they could troll our game. Damn, that shit almost worked.
LOLSparty
"...what do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?"
"Fix the cigarette lighter."
The Sparty fans I sat by had a hilarious inferiority complex. Dude commented the entire game with his vast knowledge of all things and Michigan basketball. Lamented 3 times in the first half how for years Michigan fans didn't care about basketball and one good year gets them "all the nice stuff." The poor guy wakes up every morning and says "fuck I am the little brother." I found it terribly annoying at first but soon found it very entertaining. I enjoyed the game thoroughly.
Defense must just be a Big Ten thing.

Excellent time for GRIII to show up. When he's aggressive like he was today, (and assuming Trey isn't this off) who knows how far we could go. Great win.
HEY! You there!
Seriously. What a perfect time to get it back
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
No doubt, He was more aggressive and looking for his shot tonite than he has been all year combined. Was nice to see.
starts playing like a first round draft pick in college on the 13th overall seeded team, we could go far.

Selected Players (on teams that could go far, in Michigan's near path, B1G, etc.)
It's all about:
(1) GR3 hitting outside shots.
(2) McGary hustle.
(3) Great TEAM effort.

Hope Burke is ready to pour it on as well- we will need him

Came up huge when Trey had an off night. Can't wait to see everyone "n-sync"
STOP Traffic!
RGIII is back from the knee injury already?
Someone send Jake Ryan to Washington, D.C.

Trey had a bad game, but I'm happy to see that we can win a game easily by relying on our other players. Now hopefully everyone can pull it together for the next few games.

Michigan wins big and Burke had an off night. This is great in soo many ways. Burke will be back with a vengeance and the rest of the team is playing great. Best game of GRIII's career - defensively and offensively
In Hoke we trust...
Happy. As bad as Burke played, everyone else stepped up, the D looked competent at times, and we won by more than expected.
We played terrible and covered the spread. Don't know what that means for VCU.
Hats off to McGary for a loud game. Bigger hat off to THJ for a quiet monster game.
Hail.
We were far, far away from playing terrible.
It was pretty rough in the first half, say minutes two through ten.
