or you could nut up and show up and cheer for your team. Yeah, a 3rd place game is pointless but the results are meaningful when it comes to NCAA seeding. We started the ND game today 5th in the PWR, dropped to 7th after we won, then finished 5th at the end of the night. As a result we have a more favorable draw in St. Louis as opposed to Bridgeport, which we have a very poor record at.
It ended up not being too bad as the Western fans, which turned out in droves, cheered for us. At least hatred for ND unites all sports fans across the country.

Getting screwed in the final mins. refs just blew a call and called a hand pass in our own zone which is allowed and took away a scooter vaughn goal that would have ended it. Good Ole CCHA refs

More than likely, won't the same set of refs just be re-branded as Big Ten refs, especially if the remaining CCHA teams are swallowed up by the WCHA?
We know that NHL refs are morons too, so what's to be expected from guys not good enough to ref in THEIR minor league? It's a miracle they don't whistle every play down so they can figure out "what happened to the ball".
