Michigan-UCF highlights (WH style)

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

About 21 minutes long. Every scoring drive, all the special teams blocks and replays aplenty.

Thanks a ton! Always look forward to this after a win!

Actually I had refreshed the blog like 90 times today hoping for this video to be up, so you're responsible for some good traffic for the website as well.

This is a great game for many reasons.
Wilton made so many really great throws. He's way ahead of Rudock.

The idea that Special Teams ( Baxter leaving), full back depth and LB are the preseason issues? Ha!

And despite the running game, all the experts say our OL was great because they stacked the box.

At 17:40, that's how a linebacker is supposed to play these spread running punks. Come up and fill the gaps, take out the qb, make him pitch or hand it off so every play that's all he wants to do anymore. Peppers can mess things up bad for Barrett if he gets in his face all game and rocks him. Yeah I'm looking ahead. I hope Gedeon and McCray can grasp this. If they want to be powderpuff read option playing peekaboo look at me who has the ball, then make them pay.

Slightly unfair comparison if you're expecting gedeon or mccray (or most anyone else) to diagnose, flow, then accelerate (aka plant his foot and blast off) and finish like peppers on that play. M hasn't had the best LBs in recent years but peppers pretty much breaks every mold.

FYI peppers is obviously special but they need sound, athletic (and aggressive) play at all 3 levels to consistently defeat the read option vs the likes of osu

My takeaway is that if we had wanted to go for 100, we could have done it. Those long passes were there constantly and there wasn't anything that was gonna stop it. Glad the coaches focused on other stuff.

Watch both of the Hill TDs.  The right side of the line just caved in that side of the line--especially the second one where I think they're 3 yards into the endzone.

It seems to me based on this video that Speight doesn't really check his receivers, and that he really zeros in on one of them pretty clearly.  It gives me some minor concern, but curious if others have any thoughts.

At least in what was shown it looks like Frost walked towards a handshake while Harbaugh was giving his "good job" comments to the UCF players and then walked away. Maybe he was jealous his players have as much respect for Harbaugh as they do him.

We all know exactly what "WH Style" means.

Also, another cool thing is thank you very much for creating the video and posting it here. Very hard to give blowouts the needed attention these days with a 2.5 year-old and 2.5 month-old at home. I hope they grow up enough before the last five games on the schedule!
