so much for that
Michigan "At The Top" for Drake Harris
correctly predicted the last couple of 2014 commits (Spreight and Cole), seems to have a solid and growing rapport with potential recruits, and is essentially the unaffiliated MGoBlog replacement for Tremendous since he went off and got paid to write for 247.
Didn't he also predict that Tommy Doles would commit this past weekend?
Just reading MGoBlog, it's not hard to make correct predictions a lot of the time.
He's MJHart20.
Blank.....Blank......You're not looking at the big picture here.
after his "Team 135 in Jeopardy" article. It was about Ferns' Bama offer. His response was 110% no.
Okay, who has a dog in this fight?
Does insider info just mean he ripped it from other recruiting sites? Or does this guy actualy have his own sources?
Greetings from Bolivia.

"His own sources" for this newer group of recruiting guys (Tremendous, Coach Brown, etc.) really just means that some kids respond to their questions/harassment on Twitter or Facebook. So yes, in a sense they have sources, but Sam Webb they are not.
What if Green cant get the number he wants and transfers to MSU?!?!?!?!
Despite what the other guy calls himself, my name actually is Magnus.
So wait, "at the top" or "far and away the leader" ??
Leader or not, like I've said before I'm curious to see what happens here but this looks like it's going to carry on for a LONNGGGGGGGG time. Even if he commits tomorrow, there is every indication he loves the attention and is likely even going to take official visits in the fall. This is about a year away from being over, folks. Buckle up if you want to follow every step of the recruitment because it's shaping up to be a long, public one with a lot of quotes, a lot of interviews, and a lot of drama if he bounces between programs.
I'm not so sure about that. Harris committed early to MSU, then reconsidered when he decided not to play hoops. If he was really an attention whore, he probably wouldn't have committed to MSU in the first place.

Or short ones. They all take the same amount of time. Till signing day.
Till that day comes nothing is guaranteed, and it's an ongoing process. You probably thought Green was a drama queen too, but are happy to have him now. They are under no obligation to do anything till (and through) signing day. I'd rather he look around while he's looking around (or committed to MSU) than have him do it while he's committed to Michigan.
"I love him, he's a great coach, he's a great mentor, he's a great friend. He's every single thing you want a college coach to be, and he does it flawlessly." -David Molk
I'm not about to call him an "attention whore", but if he WAS looking for attention then decommitting and looking around, then dragging on the process would be the way to go about it. He visited MSU a bunch, then visited us a couple times (and iirc said he would be back again next weekend to AA), already said he plans to visit OSU in March... so ya, it sounds like this will be going on a long time. He has also retweeted a bunch of MSU stuff and a bunch of UM stuff. Also some UGA and OSU stuff. So I'm not trying to slam him or anything but it does sound like he likes the attention and is enjoying the process of a real recruitment, not a sudden commitment and then being forgotten about.
He already committed once and realized it wasn't the right choice. How does taking his time to make the right one this time make him an attention seeker. There's a big difference between seeking attention and having a everyone throw themselves at you and beg for comments. He hasn't visited many schools, so he's going to take some visits. That's how the process is supposed to work. These type of baseless insinuations make the fan base look bad. You don't know the kid and you can't assume things about him based on what other kids have done that he's never even met.

I understand what you're saying and I think you're taking what I'm saying out of context. I'm only going on what he has said and done. That is different than "everyone throwing themselves at you". Things in interviews, things on his own Twitter page.. things that he has put out there. His visit schedule, his retweets, the way that things seem to be playing out make me think this will be a long course to follow.
Not sure what else to say. I'll just stop posting in this thread before I make it any worse.
How often do we see kids that have visits scheduled, sometimes multiple visits, then cancel those visits because they realize they've found the place that they're ready to commit? Just because he has trips scheduled, doesn't mean his recruitment can't end.
recruit gets attention from Gardner, Morris and Speight? Our QBs are working overtime to make their lives easier in the Big House.
Seriously, great to see the team spirit created by the coaches. No wonder our recruiting has vaulted to top 10 in the last 2 years.
Drake seems like a great athlete good kid who would fit perfectly on and off the field.

that Drake's dad is denying that Michigan is "at the top."
Did the interview via text last night; it's exactly how it was written.
"I would say that it is a soft verbal (to MSU) and Michigan is at the top right now I really like it there."
Sounds like he just doesn't want Drake to make any definitive statements yet, probably in order to avoid the drama talk like that above.

The #1 rule for every recruiter is "identify the key influencer and win them over."
I know nothing about Drake's family, HS coach, AAU coach, girlfriend, etc. but his dad seems to openly inject his comments for public relations on behalf of Drake.
Does anyone know if his dad is the key influencer and whether UM is viewed favorably by him?

Of course Michigan is "at the top." Given our recruiting, our facilities, the quarterbacks, the history, and the opprotunity to step in immediately at the WR position, someone like Drake Harris would be a fool not to have Michigan up there.
However . . . Harris is a basketball fan. Who of you, if you were offered free food, great seats to great basketball, and had about a 2 hour drive to get there, wouldn't jump at the chance? Of course Harris will take advantage of those opportunities offered, as would most of you. That doesn't mean that he is "in the bag" or "definitely" going to Michigan. Yes, visits are always a good thing. But they're not the only thing.

Running back out of Newsome Highschool in Florida! I have a 2 daughters there at Newsome! If 1 of you recruiting gurus could check em out let me know what ya think! My daughter that eats lunch with him often is a big Michigan fan in his ear!

Looks like he has a blog. I don't read it or follow him, which is why I was asking other MGoBloggers if he's credible or not.
