Michigan, then God, then Country....
Anyone else annoyed by these unworthy recruits who that before they commit to us, "need to see how the Wolverines do first this year", or "need to see the ramifications of the allegations" etc etc... on deciding whether 'they' want to come here.
We have without a doubt, the finest combination of education, storied history, football experience, etc that can be offered to a recruit.
Michigan pride must return at the recruit level. They are not bigger than the program here, despite the tolerance of it. Do we even want a recruit even if he will only come here if we did well the year prior?
Putting Michigan ahead of god isnt going to make the Angry Michigan Hating God happy.
Yes. That is exactly what we need. A religion test for football players.
Telling a recruit to "go fuck himself"?
You are a moron.
Hey, I LOVE this idea. Want to join up and start a cult out in Montana with me...and all the other wackos?
/snark
You don't really think this, do you?
I rarely post, but I decided to log in and let you know that you're a fucking moron.
Neg me if you wish, but keep in mind that the OP is the one notifying a 16 year old high school kid that he can go fuck himself. You're a pretty fucking worthless inhabitant of this earth if you get this bent out of shape about what a recruit says whilst making the biggest decision of HIS life.
I bet you post on Scout.
So any recruit that considers another team should be banished. Great idea, we'll get all the 5'9" 130lb kids from the state that we want.
I've seen enough God. 2012 can't get here soon enough

Christopher Hitchens and I agree with you.
And anyone who gets riled at what 18 year old recruits do with decisions on college really needs to be put into a meat grinder.
You might want to be quiet for a while Champ.
Seriously, the corner over there is a great place right now.
I find it hilarious that MidnightBlue gave a +1 to himself.
Does that even work? I've clicked mine accidentally a few times (I always switch it to -1), but I don't think anything happened.

but does nothing to your actual point total.
what if I only believe in 1 of the 3?
Are you Canadian? If yes, I guess it's okay.
I want to work in Canada they have a lot more jobs
In that case you are not a Trinitarian, I think it makes you a Oneness Pentecostal. However, I could be typing in error, I'm not the Pope
is that the one where you believe Michigan Football is the supreme being?
Yes, but only if you talk in tongues, which I have a feeling the OP is doing. OP has had a little too much "blood of Christ" this evening.
Slightly drunk, huh?
Drinking and posting does not seem to work for you my friend.
... but unfortunately your point of view doesn't merit a response. That is all.
...you're going to regret this one
you are a fucking piece of shit KSmooth, appeasing the masses.

Seeing how Florida recruited when Meyer took his leave of absence, I think its safe to say that winning football games is the biggest factor in getting these elite players on campus

Maisel had a great quote about players decisions, which went something like, "Players choose a school based on academics, winning football, and co-eds--just not in that order."
It would be really hard to go to a Florida/Georgia/Texas campus in Spring or Fall and not be impressed...

Shame on these kids for taking a wait and see approach before making the biggest decision of their young lives. Jerks!

Do we even want a recruit even if he will only come here if we did well the year prior? Is he good enough to play for Michigan? Then yes.

I've been a Michigan fan since birth and if I was a football recruit I would definitely want to see how they do this fall before (most likely) committing.
