ISMELLSEXY could not imbed the video, and if he asked me, I sure wouldn't have been able to help him. Thankfully, one of our MGoHighSchoolers did the imbed for us. Maybe the future is in better hands than we thought, with these guys running around.

But in the future, I would prefer if you would GET OFF MY LAWN !

Great to see Dawson and Mathis doin' work.  Great to see Dawson doing so well...to think that he used to be considered the lower ranked OL commit, now his ranking and offers have risen a ton, but more importantly, he keeps improving his play.  Would love to see Dawson and Mathis battling it out at Michigan practices for years to come.  Go Blue, Mathis!

You can really see the difference in foot speed and technique between Dawson and the other high schoolers there. Those other guy just seem to be plodding out their stance, whereas Dawson seems to be quick and explosive.

I love the fact that Dawson called out wanting to compete against Mathis.  Not only is it a great way to build a relationship with the kid but also shows Dawson is ready to compete the with best people out there.  That move alone made Dawson jump a bunch in my eyes, regardless of the results, the heart is there.

I loved that Dawson had the stones to call out Mathis, especially after Mathis was coming off that MVP performance at the Nike camp in LA.  Like you said, it showed heart.  Also, it seemed to be a great way for two competitors to bond...hopefully the bond can continue to grow and develop into a commitment to Michigan.

The amount of work Dawson has put in is crazy. I saw him on film from this season and he was no where near where he is today. He has added some speed and quickness. Very impressive. Great work ethic and attitude.

Anyone thinks Kenton Gibbs becomes the NT recruit in this class? With Pipkins being a year older thn him we don't need another 5 star at the position, just a dependable back-up who can give us solid playing time

This is slightly off topic but is anyone else worried about Levenberry's WEEK long visit to FSU? It is hard to see how we would still be in the lead for him after this. Anyone know? Magnus? RDT?

He said FSU is at the top with Michigan, but keep in mind that post-visit positivity is common. Just like we probably shouldn't get sky-high about Joe Mathis's comments about Michigan, we also shouldn't get rock-bottom-low about Levenberry's comments on Florida State.  If the two are even after a week-long visit, then Michigan has a chance to pull back ahead when he visits Ann Arbor this coming weekend.

Dawson looks to be in a league of his own compared to the other offensive linemen both in terms of size and technique.  I have always heard of him being more of a run blocking lineman but his pass block punch looks really good.  He was dominant in the 1v1s which is saying something because those drills somewhat favor the defensive player.  I am really excited about this kid now considering I didn't know much about him before.

While Gibbs may very well end up in this class, I will take as many highly rated/regarded recruits in as many back to back classes as long as they want to come.  Though I have no doubt Pipkins will be a beast, 5 star recruits don't always work out, so back up plans are always a good idea.
