Hmmmm. Recent sign up date. Starting multiple inane threads. Upvoting your own thread. I'm not quite sure yet, but I'm guessing there is a depth chart coming up soon. EDIT: Forgot, and the username is a proper name.

It's the fact that we have had a few conversations about the halo over the last couple weeks and you started another thread on it. Just like somebody tried calling me out the other day when I was excited about the hockey game being on DirecTV. He asked where the hell I saw that when the original poster had a fucking link to it.

Wow...I didn't know that anyone had such bad taste. The halo was the worst change to Michigan Stadium...ever. Coming in second...jock jamz.

starting out is always hard. I would suggest perusing the older threads and see how discussions progress and add a thought here or there before starting one. You kinda have to get the feel of it. It's a good group. This isn't Sparty world where any thought will get praised. If you're going to start something it's best to either think it through first, have your facts together or at least contribute something that gets a good laugh. Joinining in on a discussion is like wading into a cold lake. If you go slow, it's less painful and much more tolerable. You'll get the hang of it and all this will be forgotten.

Yeah, it's all about trying to contribute something. Read Brian's MGoBoard thoughts at the top of the site. Start there, and remember that the goal is to contribute new information of interest or new things that are entertaining. Emphasis on new... For example, titling a thread as "Bo," including a picture, and saying you think he was great is a very agreeable sentiment here. However, it adds nothing to the community, because you presented no new info. Thus, it still sucks, regardless of it's excellent message. Bo was awesome. It's the same idea with news. If it's more than an hour old, this board probably knows if it pertains to Michigan football in a significant way, so check old posts before you post something. Finally, don't get in a fight on the board. One dude lost about 2000 points in an hour, so if someone pisses you off, say so in one post and move on--but be polite.
