You will be 4 rows from the field. Rows B and A come after Row 1.

Another quick seating question for you. I just purchased tics to the Michigan/Wisc game on November 20. I got sideline 43, Row 37. They sounded like good seats, would I be correct? Just curious how high up we'll be. Thanks for you input!

In most sections there are a couple rows before row 1. Where I sit it is rows AA and BB I think.

Can anyone provide me with a seating chart showing the rows??
I only have one showing the sections. It would be a great deal of help in buying tickets for the ND game.

I've never seen a chart that listed the row #s for each section.
However, it's a matter of 2 rows, either you're 4 rows from the field or 2...not a huge difference. I've never sat in Section 11 but I don't think your view will be obstructed.
I sat in Row 1 of Section 3 once and I did not find my view to be obstructed despite being right behind the PSU bench. So I don't think you have much to worry about.

I sit in row 1. It is actually the third row up. You will be 4 rows up. Dude, buy the tickets. It's ND.

As others have said.

IMHE I think that something around 20/40 is the best. Especially if you have smaller children because that is when the stadium seating starts to get steeper whereas rows A-20 are pretty much flat

My brother's seats are in the high 20s on the 10-yard line. I love them.

Good friend is a huge ND fan who hasn't been to a ND or any college football game in general.
Even though he's a ND guy, I jumped at the chance to show him his first CFB experience at the Big House.
We're gonna be in row 2..Go Blue

Good man. You'll be glad you did.

Hi!,
For my husband and I's first year anniversary, I'm surprising my husband with a trip to the Michigan/Purdue game the weekend of our anniversary. I have never been to the Big House, (I'm from alabama..so War Eagle!. I found some tickets on stubhub but I'm not sure if I should get them or not. I want him to be really happy, he grew up in Michigan and hasn't been back to a game in a very long time, so I want to make this good! He loves MI football so I want to get good seats for us :) I wanna make this first anniversary great!
These tickets I saw were in Section 2 row 45...then they had a row 73. Are any of those good? too far? too close? Or do you recommend somewhere else.
We just went to the Auburn vs West Virginia game this past weekend, and our seats were endzone seats. Although it was a great game, I've never sat in the endzone before....it was ok, I just prefer a sideline view I believe.
Any help would be great! Thanks

Damn good seats in my epinion. You are a good wife to get them for him.

The seats are around the 40 yard line about half way up.
One more question... How do you feel about bigamy? (Smile)

First post on the board and you even thought to search out an existing thread pertaining to the subject? Maybe the board isn't really going to explode tonight after all.
Nicely done! Enjoy the game!

Had to give her a +1 for good form and for being a great wife.
October 17th, 2009 at 12:58 PM ^
thanks. I'm actually still in the search. Everything else is booked for the weekend up there..except the tickets. My worry is I dont wanna be super high up...but I dont want to be too low either. Is row 44 decent? Or is that too low for somewhere around on the sidelines?

Never been to the stadium before..planning on buying tickets for section 11 row 60. Is that a good view? any pros and cons? Thanks!

We grew up near Ann Arbor but have been gone for almost 15 years. We are coming back for the UM MSU game on Oct 9 2010. Can anyone help us pick seats? I was looking at section 17 row 22. Is that the first row behind an aisle? I wish we could find a "row" chart of the stadium. Seems like it might be nice to have an aisle in front of us for extra leg room.
Thoughts? Greatly appreciated and GO BLUE!

Could really use your opinions before dropping almost $400 on two tickets.
Something like section 17 row 22 with an aisle right in front of us, or section 37 row 35 or so that is closer to our friends and higher up, marginally cheaper, but no aisle in front of us.
Thanks!

Hey everyone I'm looking at buying some tickets for a game next year and I was wondering if Section 20 Row 16 would be good seating? Just wondering if anyone has an idea of what kind of view I would have of the game. Thanks!
January 9th, 2011 at 12:51 AM ^
They're OK - on the west sideline, right around the goal line.

Thanks. Gonna be my first game in the Big House. Kind of on a budget right now, but really wanting to get in the Big House. Was just wondering if I would have a decent view of the game!

those are great seats. no one to really stand in front of you.
August 1st, 2011 at 10:12 PM ^
Planning on buying 2 tickets, individually, but they are both in the same section and row, how does the seating work, will both seats be next to each other, how difficlut will it be to sit next to the other ticket?
August 21st, 2011 at 7:34 PM ^
Are the seats at Sideline 21 Row B blocked by the players?? Can someone let me know if these are decent tickets or if they are too close to the field that they are blocked? I am coming in from out of town and want to make sure they are good tickets. Thanks
August 21st, 2011 at 8:17 PM ^
by the thousand-sun-brilliance of Denard's smile blinding you by being only a few yards away then yes, those seats are terribly blocked.
Donate them to the first even-toed ungulate you meet.
August 21st, 2011 at 8:17 PM ^
Come on? Seriously? I have sat in row 1 of stadiums before and had camera trucks, etc rolling past blocking views. Just looking for a decent answer prior to purchasing.

I have no idea what constitutes a quality game experience for you?
Some people like to see every inch of field, sit near an exit, or smell the players breath.
The second (or is it fourth?) row in section 21 will put you on the Michigan sideline, somewhat near the south endzone, up close & personal. Section 21 is my personal favorite, but i have a viewing/hearing sweet spot that is between rows 30-50. Down in front you'll be really close to the action, you'll see & hear more as long as the action is near THE SOUTH ENDZONE.
The brick wall along the sidelines is probably about 6 ft high, sitting in a seat would put your head 2-3 ft above that. That means anything along the Michigan sideline will be blocked by players etc. You may not even be able to see much into the field untill the yard numbers about another 10-15 yrds in. You could stand up to improve your viewing angle, but you might get a bunch of "down-in-fronters" hassling you. If the action comes close eveyone will stand regardless.
I've never seen a camera truck or ANY kind of obstruction (except for cheerleaders) blocking anything, from any seat i've ever sat in. I've sat in row 4 at the 45 before and it was a great experience; I missed some of the action visually, but it was a unique perspective to be close.
I'd stick with my mid row favorites if given the choice however.

Anyone out there to answer the seating question for an alumni??
August 21st, 2011 at 9:02 PM ^
Thanks. I get it. Just wanted to verify that these were what I thought. I could never find an image of the rows in Michigan Stadium or where Row B was. I guess that this will be a pretty good choice for up close action.

I'm about to buy tickets to the OSU game section 43 row 85, really need to know if these are going to be good seats I've never been to a game before and I'm really excited to go to this game. If there's someone that could help me out that would be amazing, thank you in advance.
