Michigan Stadium Rededication Game Program Available

Submitted by MGoShoe on

The U-M vs. UConn official game day commemorative program is now available for pre-order at MGoBlue.com.  The program will include a special section on Michigan Stadium and its September 4 rededication.

In addition to the typical weekly content in Michigan game day programs, this commemorative issue includes features on some of the biggest personalities related to Michigan Stadium -- from Fielding Yost to Bennie Oosterbaan to Bob Ufer -- as well as the history of how the Big House came to be, and how it has evolved over its 83 years.

You'll also find:

  • Historical photos from the 1920s and on
  • Fun facts and figures comparing the original dedication in 1927 to today in 2010
  • Big House traditions and moments in history
  • Milestone games
  • Favorite moments from U-M football coaches

Pre-sold game programs are available while supplies last and are priced at $15, which includes shipping and handling. There is a limit of 10 programs per order.

Orders will be fulfilled and shipped beginning Friday, Sept. 3. As always, programs will also be available for sale inside and around Michigan Stadium on game day. Thanks and GO BLUE!

Nice.  I was going to order one, but now I'll be picking one up on gameday as I just learned this morning that I'll be viewing the UConn game from one of the new Suites!!!  Yes, I'm gloating.
