Does anyone know if/when Michigan Stadium is open for the public to go inside?
in town for free camps
yes go for it!
Pre-renovations, it was every day until 3 or so. Now that the stadium is an active construction site, it is only open during games. I would think that once the renovations are done, it will be reopened.
You can always Jack Kennedy it and jump the fence.
Be careful. I tried to sneak in last year at night and got stopped by a cop who was sitting in the back of the parking lot and said he saw me on a camera. He was really nice about it and I didn't get in trouble but if you try it just know it's a risk. He also said that he thought it would be open again after the renovations.
Take a tour of the Big House.
Only if that former Michigan football player is John Navarre.
Back in 02 when I was still a student one of my football loving buddies came up and we hopped the fence to go get some grass from the end zone. Seemed dangerous at the time but all went without issue. The turn styles spin toward the exit even when locked (at least they did then) so you really only need to worry about getting in over the fence. Good luck!
