Just got this email.

Unlike last year's that was only open to season ticket holders, this one is open to everyone.

The movies you can vote for are Big Hero 6, Jurassic Park, Frozen, The Goonies, Remember The Titans or McFarland USA.

Agreed. Much better than I thought it would be. Both my son and daughter liked it and they never agree. Though they both loved Jurassic Park as well.

I just asked my 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter which movie they want to vote for and it was a unanimous choice of Jurassic Park. I was stunned it wasn't Frozen or Big Hero 6.

How about we reinvent what "family-friendly" actually means? For example, anything by Sidney Lumet, although I would be partial to "Network". We could extend the Paddy Chayefsky theme and show "Altered States" after "Network" too. Alternatively, "Airplane!" or "Caddyshack" would not be terrible options, although if my wife is any indication, the kids won't be seeing either for a while.

4 of the 6 movies are Disney, Disney owns ABC and ESPN. Disney also started the mighty ducks franchise, which is also the name of the University of Oregon mascot... Who's the famous Oregon grad? Prefontaine. Run Pre Run, Waffle soles on shoes. Nike put the waffle sole on shoes!!! Waffle House is considered country cooking, just like Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel is Jim Harbaugh's favorite restaurant. Jim Harbaugh therefore is friends with Nike. Michigan to Nike confirmed.

Also could have gone the route... Disney owns ESPN. ESPN is in love with the NFL. Who enforces the NFL? Nike. Michigan to Nike confirmed.
