Michigan fliers has posted a nice new video with an aerial view of the practice fields, stadium, and scoreboards. You can find this at http://www.michiganstadiumaerials.com/. It gives a great spatial understanding of the three outdoor practice fields next to the fieldhouse. It turns out that the video was shot during practice, as you can see both natural turf fields in full use (although you'd be hard pressed to identify anything like Hoke pointing, etc.)
The aerial view also gives a good perspective on the new scoreboards. You can see video at the far distance of the plane, making it obvious that you'll be able to see those screens easily anywhere in the stadium.
I am neither an architect nor a designer, but the new scoreboards seem to be sized "just right" in proportion to the stadium. I'm not sure they would look right if they were twice their current size. Regardless, they seem more than large enough.
Near the beginning, you can also see the new basketball PDC next to Crisler, which is looking more and more finished.
Now, if one of you who does this regularly can point me to a tutorial on embedding video, I would be much obliged.
