Both Joe Reynolds (who caught the TD pass) and Bo Dever ATE UP Terry Richardson and Dymonte Thomas on a couple of inside slant routes.

It's one play, but nice to see the walk-ons holding their own.

Dever was playing the slot behind Dileo for much of the game. Looks solid.

Last sidenote from that play, Jeremy Clark looks HUGE playing S, looks like Ernest Shazor back there (size wise).

I just re-watched the Spring Game for the 3rd time (this is my elixir for the NC loss)...I noticed that we didn't seem to be playing FS and SS. More just two safety and we shifted more depending on the offense, which side of the field the ball was on, etc.

Did you notice this or were we indeed still playing both safties with two distinct roles we were just rotating Gordon and Wilson between the two spots?

Sidenote, Gordon and Wilson seemed to play a considerable amount more than Robinson.

But the were constantly moving who was down, who was high, who was over the slot, who was over the TE, etc.

It almost seemed like the coaches aren't seperating the positions as much as some of us do.

Needless to say, the real spring game is probably 1-2 years away. Once we see legit depth it will be worth putting on the show. Still tough when you have a legit starter at some positions and then a significant drop off, not necessarily in talent, but in some cases experience. You can only have a true spring game if you can afford to lose someone. I hate to think like that, but t is true. We will have one in the near future. Hoke is truly engineering a rebirth. It's been said plenty of times but unfortunately it seems as though the big ten is reverting back to its old ways. Two giants; Michigan & ohio.

Remember, we only signed 3 OL combined during 09-10. The first big OL haul for hoke is redshirt freshmen and only one of the 2013 group is here. Both will be on the field next year and barring a QB injury, we'll have a game.
