Speed and intelligence. I watched the entire win from pre to post. Brandon got at least one thing correct, we need to invest in Michigan Softball. Now I can go back to work, happy. Go Blue!

These are comments I like to see.

Michigan being on ESPN in these NCAA Tournament games only builds the fanbase (which is already incredibly impressive). People who maybe haven't been following/watching all season long like the rest of us might watch Michigan in the World Series and then might come out to Alumni Field for a game the next season and get hooked.

That's why it's smart to invest in all sports here. Because it willl build the fanbase and add more support to the programs and it lets the athletes know that we're all behind them.

Michigan Softball was already built up from decades of hard work and stellar coaching by Hutch. It just got a boost by having world-class facilities added to its reputation.

on everything but giving DB any credit.  Coach Hutch built this Michigan Softball Machine well before Brandon arrived.  Credit her, credit the long line of great Michigan softball players, and credit the Wilpons and other donors for the fact we have a great softball/baseball complex for our athletes to use and profit! from.   Brandon showed up at the right time to hitch a ride for a while, but that's all the credit I'll give him regarding our softball heroes.

/end of rant.

Kind of OT/serious for a posbang/question from a younger guy, but I usually think Hutch smiling = Bo smiling in terms of being hardasses who aren't easily pleased.

Can someone chime in about how accurate that is?

Awesome job by the girls tonight. Went to my first ever softball games last weekend during the super regionals and had a blast. What a fun team to watch. Go Blue!

Michigan is now 79-2 all-time when hitting a grand slam.

This was the first time ever in Michigan history that a player hit a grand slam in a World Series game.

Hopefully this Oregon-UCLA game goes lonnnnnnnnng into the early morning with the delay and then go extra innings so the winner is nice and exhausted for 9:30pm tomorrow night.
