I don't know that it's nerves. Their bats have been kind of mellow since the Regional. Not cold, but they've definitely cooled off.

Another pop-up, 2 scoreless innings both ways. Betsa coming back out as both sides move towards their second trip through the order, often a stage when the bats start to dial in.
Need some big offense in the 3rd. Having 9-1-2 up is best case scenario for our team in my opinion. Ramirez is such a reliable 9.
Agreed - she's such a sneaky 9. She's really a 2nd lead-off hitter. Will probably move into the #1 spot next season.
Is her pitching motion legal? It seems like her foot isn't maintaining contact the way I suspect it needs to on some of her pitches.
Nice defensive snag & throw from Monte. Like usual, she's a spark plug on both sides of the ball.
And some of those balls were strikes. :)

Glad she swung at the last pitch. Even though it was down the middle the ump might have called a ball!
YOU BETSA! Back to back swinging Ks ends the inning! It's sneaky 9 Ramirez to lead us off, and then the top of the order. We get our 2nd bite at the apple starting soon, time for the offense to get more aggressive.
