It turns out that Michigan was the only visiting team to win today.  Quarterfinal pairings--

#8 UCLA at #1 Louisville, 7:00 pm Saturday

#5 Southern Methodist at #4 North Carolina, 7:00 pm Friday

#6 California at #3 Akron, 4:00 pm Saturday

#10 Michigan at #2 Maryland, 1:00 pm Saturday

Maryland has won 15 straight games, outscoring its opponents 41-4 in the process.  They have not allowed a goal in their last 431 minutes of play--more than 4 and a half games.

I agree.  Also, if you compare results against common opponents, things don't look bad at all--

vs Penn State--Maryland won 1-0 at home; Michigan won 2-1 at home and 4-1 on the road.

vs Michigan State--Maryland lost 4-3 at home; Michigan won 3-2 at home and 2-1 at a neutral site.
