Good Ole Boy's Poll, a personality contest of the first order. If you have a good buddy network that you keep with all your old coaching buddy's. Then if your record is 6-2 you will be at the top of the teams with 6-2 records. If you don't and your record is 8-0 you will be at the bottom of the teams with 8-0 records.

on the Iron Bowl will be similar to the The Game.  Although, you're correct that if Auburn wins, Alabama would remain the highest rated team not to win a conf title and the one that would get in ahead of the PAC12 should Washington not win the conference.  It would be the end of hope for Louisville, and the loser of Michigan-OSU.

Came to the realization that no matter when and if Alabama drops a game, they're still going to the playoffs, that's the benefit of winning multiple championships recently and being ranked 1st.

4 team playofff is dumb andyways, when will they expand it to 8 teams. 8 would be perfect and they would not need to change it again after that.

The CFP is not very good at what they do. Putting Clemson at #2 shows they have a "win is a win" philosophy regarding that NC State game. There is nothing a team can control less than their opponent's field goal kicking. Clemson had a rabbit's foot up their ass and were rewarded for it by those tools.

Is there a way to see what each coach voted for past week?

For the AP poll, you can click on each voter and see how they comprised their Top 25.  The coaches poll should be the same way.  Voters shouldn't be able to pull a Phil Fulmer and rate teams they don't like unfairly.

Makes sense because we only beat Maryland 59-3 and Clemson is in the SEC*. *- it doesn't actually make sense, but neither do my arguements for dropping us.

Time to do away with the coaches poll.

There was at least one coach that had every team under Wisconsin unranked.

Coaches are the LEAST likely to have time to follow the rest of the college football world. I'm probably more up to date on what other college teams are doing nationally than they are.

Who the fuck ranks Michigan 8th? Washington 18th?

General question: Why is Oklahoma so massively overrated by everyone? Why is Colorado so massively underrated?

LSU and Florida State with 3 losses over Nebraska? Edit: I can understand this one with the way OSU dismantled them.

I think that the "high/low" thing is for their rankings over the course of the entire season, and not this past week. I can't imagine someone actually voted a 9-0 Washington team 18th this week.

There was someone who voted us 7th last week (or the week before?) though.

Whatever!! Should be #1. I'd be happy with #4 in every poll. It isn't going to matter in the end. I'd prefer to see Michigan go head to head with the shitty smelling elephants in the first playoff game. A month to prepare for them with this staff and a fresh team looks like victory me. Only one thing left to do boys! Just Win Baby!
