Interesting that the Freep used this... it was in Brian's post today.
FWIW. Michigan doesn't seem inclined to get re-involved.

apologize too much? I guess 21 years of marriage trains you to apologize before you say or do anything!
I figured it was posted somewhere, but I didn't see it.
So they read his Q&A site. Awesome journalism, not shocking.
That's a lot of "the most difficult receivers to cover."
He should have just said, "all of 'em."
It's great that Cameron Gordon is difficult to cover, but if we have so many receivers with that quality, wouldn't you rather see him at linebacker?
Additionally, couldn't that answer be a hint as to why he's not playing? I know that he's probably trying to be complimentary to his teammates, but if he can't cover, maybe it's best he sits a little bit.
The question was who is hardest to cover not who can't you cover, so the assumption that he cannot cover the people he named seems a bit unreasonable
the best FPress article in years..... Could it be because they Stole it!!!!
So Freep creeps it on mgoblog. Not surprised.
I like this a lot. There are two positions that require supreme confidence: QB and HC. If a QB isn't a little bit cocky, the likelihood of his teammates fully appreciating his leadership is usually somewhat compromised.
Now, I want to see him remain healthy for an entire season.
They basically copied from here. This passes for journalism nowadays?
Snyder got it from the tweet that I put out about this earlier.
I had a talk with both Brandin Hawthorne and Vlad awhile back, about Mark Snyder following them on Twitter.
I just thought I would make them aware of the fact that he was following them, and left their decision up to them what to do with it. They both blocked him.
That says a lot. Good for those kids. Let the public hear about stuff from them directly, and without any spin from a "journalist."
Because I can't +1 them. I knew they seemed like intelligent fellows.
The best question and answer by Vlad?
but you're familiar with mgoblog? any thoughts?
its ok inaccurate but its ok
So yes, they're all reading. Keep that in mind when you post.
It would have been great on the toughest receiver question if he had named every wideout on the team except one. That guy would read it and be like WTF?!
I regret not asking Vlad the question, "What's your take on the rumor that Mark Snyder has a 1-inch penis?"
Luckily, he did answer my question of, "Where the hoes at?" though........
that was you? loved it!
• Asked about the team exceeding NCAA limits for workout hours, as alleged in a Free Press report citing claims by current and former players: “hell naw we didn’t.”
Can't wait to see Vlad get some serious PT next year.
Great interview, and great post, OP.
CB: Justin Turner
CB: Cullen Christian (but wouldn't be surprised if this is Courtney Avery)
SS: Troy Woolfolk
FS: Vlad Emilien
Am I not giving JT Floyd enough credit? Probably. He probably has as good a chance as anyone to start.
Am I giving the incoming freshman safeties too little credit? Probably not. Safety is a more difficult position for a true frosh to pick up. TW should move back there, and Vlad now has a whole season under his belt. He will be ahead of the true frosh both physically and mentally. Remember, he was a pretty solid recruit a year ago as well.
Woolfolk moves back to safety? I Don't like the idea of having two Freshman CB. God! I hope we get Dorsey. I think he is going to be a problem for teams passing game. "No Fly Zone!"
Although I agree that having two freshman CB's isn't ideal, I'd rather have them at CB than at S, and Turner has about as much experience as Vlad so that's an essential wash.
Woolfolk's skill and experience are more beneficial to us at safety, and if he stays at CB, who else plays at safety? I can almost promise you that you'd rather have Cullen starting at CB than any of our incoming guys starting at safety. If Michael Williams improves a lot and Vlad is good to start, then I might change my tune on TW, but otherwise, I'm sticking to my guns.
"Darryl (DC) Stonum, Martavious Odoms, Roy Roundtree, Jeremy Gallon, Junior Hemingway and Cameron Gordon."
he's on Ricky Reyes like stink on shit.
Apparently Je'Ron Stokes is pretty easy to cover...
I am glad he named everyone there. He did a pretty good job of answering questions in a manner where they cannot be taken out of context.
Edit: He's back on there answering questions if anyone has something they want to know.......
This one makes me smile.
Name the one guy in the Big Ten that you want to come across the middle of the field so you can just light him up.
Wait, so did Vlad confirm that Cameron Gordon is still a receiver?
I gave Vlad the heads up that the FREEP picked up his chat...and I accidentally pasted from here and it included "Is Mark Snyder a sneaky piece of shit" and now its on there...Im trying to explain to my wife why i fell off the couch laughing.
" Just to let you know....I think you will be a great one at Michigan! How are the guys who enrolled a couple weeks ago adjusting to being in college? The rest of the team doing anything to help them transition to college football and college in general?
they are doing good they are participating in our voluntary 7 on 7"
I notice the Freep left that one out...
Vlad is very impressive on how he answers these questions. He is obviously smart and knows to be vague. I loved the line about the voluntary 7 on 7's!
the M receivers are going to have a field day this coming season!
Hmmm...did it get zapped?
looks like it. Page cannot displayed error here.
...it was still there (if this is what you're referring to).

A: lol i have no thought on that
Q: who is the one guy on the team you would be terrified to fight?
A: mike martin
Q: do you ever punch people in the buttcheeks and call them breadloafs

A: completely awesome
I have a feeling Vlad will become a cult hero from this day on. Someone has to replace Zoltan. Also, love the fist pump question lol.
Interesting. One of the most awesome players on the team prefers the band to the rawk.
Big House No Fly Zone will be put in effect with the signing of any 2 of the 3 big time safeties we are going after
Vlad's twitter account, where a lot of people learned about this open forum has been deleted. I guessing the coaches told him this was a bad idea.
He kept getting asked a lot of the same questions from what I saw and he was asked some real dumb questions also
Probably in response to the Freep article. The last two posts in the Q&A were about just that.
"just deleted my twitter... guess imma bigger deal than i thought"
I told him he was a big deal. He didn't believe me!
