"What I really want, and what I will come back for next year, are to set state records in both of the sprint events," Peppers said. "Besides some of the great individuals out on the blocks I am also racing against the clock. I know that those standards are high but those are my goals – and they are achievable." - Jabrill Peppers, in the article

It has been mentioned on the boards before, but you really have to like how Peppers thinks when it comes to athletics as well as his own life in general. He is always seeking to be better than he is, and his is pretty damn good already. That sort of drive will fit in just fine in Ann Arbor, I would think. As for this, congratulations to Jabrill Peppers and hopefully he does set a few more records before he arrives on campus.

Congrats to both.  This further shows the range of UM's reputation and name that students from such different sports would view UM as the best option for them.
