Was that that drake look-a-like who made the prank videos they just showed in the student section? Can't remember his name but those videos were semi-entertaining.

While Prof X was trolling, he was egged on by some idiot M fans.

There's nothing wrong with a reasonable opposing fan posting here. However, some people negged him for just that. Now, Prof X responded poorly, but he's been a valued member here for a while. Whatever mod bolivia'd him should take responsibility and explain why.

I explained quite clearly that informative or insightful commentary was fine, but to restrict his comments to that. He tried to flout that warning twice, and I took his points to zero (as my above post explains), I then told him not to post on the thread again; after he did that, I put him into the negative.

I've explained each action I've taken in real time, if you care to look.

Thanks. Haven't had time to look backwards at replies and still pay attention to the game.

I do remember people jumped on him for early, innocent posts though. There used to be a community wide effort to encourage polite discourse, yet game threads this year have been a sad display of the MLive mentality. Perhaps, some of those that egged Prof X on deserve some blame as well.

and I make a point to stop the personal stuff against simple opinion posts, whether they say M football will be better out without Denard because he's a "bad player" or it's a Buckeye getting negged just for being a Buckeye. Not saying I'm perfect, just that I do consciously try.

If you can point to anything above that you think deserves more than just a "come on guys" warning, I'd be glad to take a look at it. I didn't post one of those because his first couple posts were pretty bad, though I agree he followed up with a few reasonable replies about Painter/Purdue frontcourt before reverting back.

I am sorry but you did not give enough warning time. By the time I saw the warning I already posted the comment that brought me to 0. So, in essance your moderating system blows for open threads. The old system was better. Let the community decide with neg bangs. I am fine with getting neg banged to bolivia. 

There are plusses and minuses to the current system. A mod controlled system is great for non-open threads. A community controlled moderation works better for real time open threads.

early in the year, when he wasn't making his 3s, his misses were often of the in-and-out variety.  now, he is firing up a lot of airballs and bricks.  he needs to get his mojo back for this team to fire on all cylinders.
