It is a beat late of a hit but not egregiously so - could have been a targeting call by the letter of the law but was unseen and in my opinion doesn't appear intentionally dirty.

in WD's highlight reel above. After he is on the ground a second player comes in and crushes him on the head.

It's right at the 2 minute mark. I don't think it was that bad. Speight was definitely down before the hit came. But it wasn't glaringly after the play had concluded, or anything like that.

thanks

I remember thinking at halftime that I wasn't even going to watch WD's video today since there weren't that many highlights or plays I cared to re-watch anyway. HOLY COW did that turn around in a flash. As always, thanks for making these.

There again, it somehow comes back to the mustache of Don Brown, the mustache of a man who is the mind behind some of the best football porn around. Dare we call it a "defensive pornstache"?
Actually, no, let's not do this - still, I do agree with you.

And verily, we are in awe of his pornstachioed genius.

That isn't really saying much. But he's probably the best since David Harris.

Jake Butt never had the speed to make the plays against the good and fast defenses. These tight-ends are faster and bigger. O'Korn can get the ball to these guys on the out and crossing routes. Going to be fun watching the offense open up now. Cant see how O'Korn doesn't keep the job after seeing his (in game/not practice field) talents.

Enjoyed it. Noticed Higdon was hit helmet to helmet after a good run in the first half. Purdue needs to clean up that helmet to helmet stuff or they could get a reputation as dirty. Also noticed Gary faced a lot double teams, and O'Korn showed excellent field vision yesterday and was very decisive with a quick release. His third and 6 scramble and completion for a first down deep in Michigan territory early in the 3rd quarter turned the tide as did the masterpiece the defense painted the whole second half. The late hits on O'Korn (targeting called) after his completion to inside the 10 were ridiculously dirty by both Purdue players, not just the one ejecdted.

completion!! YAY!! It was a good pass for a first down to finish it out. A couple of things
If O'Korn starts against MSU, he should be even better than today! How's that for scary?
That Long play at 18:05 where he blocks the ball from a perfect position. We seem to get a few of those a game. For a young, inexperienced cover team, that's some fucking great coaching. There are 3 and 4 year players on good defenses that don't make that play.
The Purdue dude at 19:35, right after Evans scores the last TD. I love his look. He just looks like he's resigned to die or something. You can tell he's been gutted emotionally. LOVE IT lol.
O'Korn's run at 18:50 is one of those "I want to play!" plays where he shows he'll do what it takes.

The Bush block was mentioned in another thread, but watch Gary destroy a running back trying to block on the play that starts at 3:22. Wow
