Michigan Practicing on Natural Grass this Week per RR
Since we have been getting 3 weather report posts per day from our MGoWeatherMen, I figured I would throw this info that I heard from RR on Inside Michigan Football.
Practicing on the grass will hopefully eliminate any potential problems, and RR said they are accounting for rain so perhaps they even watered down their practice field?
Anyways, I don't think that the rain will be a huge factor, unless it is like 2008. In that case, both teams will be equally affected.
The boys will be ready rain or shine and won't make any excuses regardless of the outcome.

Crazy weather conspiring to limit this to a match up of run offenses vs run defenses would be fantastic.

Really good point. I have seen weather favor an offense that knows with precision where it is going at every moment too. We are that sort of offense.

How else would we get to see/hear David Molk talk about the feeling of euphoria when you hit someone in the right place just under the chin so hard that it knocks them on their back? And then to see him proud of the fact that he did it in the UConn game.

seem a bit "giddy" over that statement.

Rain or shine, the Michigan Wolverines led by Rich Rodriguez will blow out Notre Dame. I believe Notre Dame will have trouble getting the ball downfield when their QB is flat on his back. This team is much more mature than last year and it showed last week against UConn. I would like to quote Tony Horton from P90X before his famous plyo workout, "Get ready, cause its coming."
This is the Rich Rod revenge tour and even though we beat the Irish last year, it is always good manners to knock your rival on his a$$!

Grass, turf, or swamp, Denard Robinson is still the fastest player on the field.

Hope Michigan brings a couple different size cleats to the game. I remember years ago in a pouring rain Bo had the team change out to longer cleats at the half and the traction difference was like night and day.
