Edit: that 3 by Wiscy at the game's end was the opposite of how we finished our game. I enjoyed them both. Wiscy's student section's "NIT" was somewhat enjoyable as well.

Sparty's getting its feces handed to it. I think this season has MSU fans looking ahead to football season. I'm pretty sure there's fool's gold there too. It'll hurt in March though if sparty doesn't make the tournament.
Kind of like when Michigan's streak of 33 bowl games ended. I think Michigan's fans are handling little brother's misfortune with far more class than little brother did with our recent misfortunes in football.
Is it too much to ask for improvement on a 7-6 record this year for our football program? RR de facto didn't have a QB w/ experience to inherit in year 1. Hoke gets an upperclassman starter in Denard and a back-up in 5-star Devin Gardner in his year 1. Plus, it's the first year of the newly formatted conference. Better D-coordination (how can it get worse). Experience on the D-line and experience in the secondary.
Lots of motivation this off season! Go blue!

Stopped by RCMB for a second, just to see the vitriol, and boy do they overreact there. Izzo is having the first bad season in over a decade, and people are calling for his head. I'm sure that it is a vocal minority and all, but I think his flirtation with the Cleveland job turned a chunk of the fans off who were shocked, *shocked* that a coach at MSU would want to move on to something else.
