Let me first off apologize for the mild homerism /glowing optimism of this post. I just watched the 5 questions with Martavious Odoms on mgoblue.com and a few different comments he made got me a little excited about our passing game in 2010 and I'd love to see if I'm completely crazy for thinking it.
Tae mentioned that the influx of young slot receivers (Gallon) has provided more in the way of fresh legs on more plays and that with the 2 SR sets we're running it puts a lot more speed on the field.
He also mentioned that with a year in the system, Tate (along with the redshirt froshs) should really know the system by now. When it isn't falling off, Tate's got one of the more accurate arms out there.
With RR having a fairly complex offense that requires a high amount of precision to execute on all levels; if all of these factors gel and stay injury free, we could be in for a fairly badass passing attack in '10.
Of course there's probably 1,000 reason't why this wouldn't happen, but would I be completely crazy to think it might?
